Which Payment Provider Would You Suggest?

Not going to sugar coat it, you’re in a pretty shit situation. UAE was only recently taken off the EU blacklist, so there aren’t many mainstream global providers that support it.

Without looking into your options, you’ll most likely have to find local merchant processing that can integrate with Authorise.net

What was your reasoning for incorporating in UAE? (Apart from potential tax savings, which unless you can prove substance is shaky)

Thanks for your suggestion of a local merchant that can integrate with authorize.net, I'll look into it.

Is there any reason why you wouldn't use something like https://www.payfort.com/ that's supported by Shopify? They're from UAE themselves so I presume they would support UAE businesses.

Regarding the reasoning for incorporating in the UAE, after consulting with lawyers and accountants, I saw several advantages and couldn't see any significant disadvantage. Tax savings as you already mentioned (even more if you plan to have your personal tax residence there) clearly on top of the list and also the fact that there isn't any tax authority can make a few things simpler and typically cause less headaches in general, from my experience. I was aware that the UAE has been in EU blacklist for a while but as far as I know they've never been in the blacklists of the single EU countries (at least not in Italy nor in the EU country where I'm currently living) which is, from my understanding, what might potentially end up making it a not optimal solution in many cases. Also, for sake of clarity, Ecom is just something we're testing out to diversify our revenue streams.
