So I am looking to promote an offer from a network. But these offer needs approval in order to run.
My AM is requesting to see the landing page and ad copy. Traffic source is FB.
I understand the advertiser concern for misrepresentation and such. But is this typically the norm?
Cause I read that affiliates typically do not share these due to general mistrust towards the network. Thats why tracker software have meta redirect and ect.
Is this something I should be concern of? How do I get approved but still maintain my campaign privacy?
Thanks.
Anyone?
Really depends on the offer man, some require it more then others.
In most cases you shouldn't get asked for it, but with some offers and the legalities of running it for the advertiser they may need to check them and its more routine practice.
Normal for a lot of offers.
If you want privacy, for approval just stick in in an AWS bucket and make sure there's no tracking links on the page.
^^
Or a screenshot usually suffices.
Totally depends on the offer though. For most offers, most AM's, on most networks don't care and don't ask to see it for approval. If they are asking, then that means the advertiser is very cautious and doesn't want to fuck around with any grey/black hat aggressiveness.
If everything is above board, I wouldn't think twice of showing anything to my AM to get approved.
