Postback or Offer Url is wrong, probably both. (8)

Intro/Excuse:

THE PROBLEM IS ME! NOT Y'ALL! Please forgive me for being a dumb hillbilly. Obviously this technical stuff goes over my head pretty quick!
I've spent two weeks reading every post multiple times through, reading all the info provided by the tracker, aff network and traffic source.


My Problem:
Conversions are shown on the affiliate network, but not in the tracker.
Mobidea is showing 4 conversions, but Voluum shows 0. Voluum does show 169 clicks, if that matters.


My Setup:
Tracker: Voluum
Aff network: Mobidea
Traffic Source: Propeller Ads


My Question:

Can someone please show me what part is wrong and tell me verbatim what it should be???
Just reading the explanations has not helped me figure it out obviously .


Below are the variations I've tried. Ohh and my domain is not hamsandwich.mayo. That just happens to be what I'm eating while writing this on my lunch break.

Note: Mobidea keeps adding "https://" even after I save it without it. It has a note saying to insert the subdomain without "http://"

@wrench_turner the problem is with your postback URL. Mobidea is integrated with Voluum so it's best to set it up under "Voluum" and not use the "Custom" option - this one is causing some errors.

To do so, click the "Global postback" option from the drop-down menu in Mobidea, then select the Voluum radio button.





In the field for the domain name, write: track.hamsandwich.mayo
- no HTTP or HTTPS
- no tokens
- just the domain name like I typed it above,

The rest looks good to me! But in case this doesn't help, check your error log and let me know what errors you see there.

Welp, I'm back to report.

Still not seeing conversions in the tracker.

However, I changed my postback url on Mobidea to track.hamsandwich.mayo and I stopped having error logs in Voluum. So I'm guessing that is all fixed and now my problem lies elsewhere.

I set my offer url as https://www.rotatemyurls.com/offer/123456|21648?tag={clickid}&website={trafficsource. id}&placement={campaign.id}
Which was the recommendation from the 40 day guide I've been following by the awesomely bad ass @vortex ! Although I'm not sure if this setup was only for the direct linking campaigns?

Maybe someone can let me know where else I've botched this operation! Thanks STM!

If there are still no conversions reported back, DM me a screenshot from your Mobidea postback setup and I'll check it myself. Otherwise it's really hard to tell if it's fixed or not. But no errors in the error log is a good sign.

tag={clickid} is the one parameter that needs to be there for a conversion to be assigned to the right click id in Voluum, website={trafficsource.id}&placement={campaign.id} are optional.

Still no conversions showing in Voluum. ;( Looks like no click id is showing up to Voluum?

Here is my domain setup in voluum. Karolina suggested my problem could be from not having SSL on my domain. Can anyone confirm if they have had this same issue?

I'm waiting on acceptance to another affiliate network and then I'll test again and see if anything changes.

This makes week 5 that I've been trying to solve this problem. I don't have much hair left to pull out! lol
