Conversion lost issue, need help

Hello,

Affiliate Network : Clickdealer
Tracker : Binom

I have run 1 clickdealer offer and got conversion and I can see that in my Binom tracker but not able to see in my clickdealer conversion report.

Binom Tracker:

Clickdealer Conversion Report:

I have contacted both but didn't get any solution, both blame to eachother.

Because without pass conversion through affiliate network not shown in my tracker.

What's the solution now ?

Thanks.

Conversion tracking is not 100% accurate, it's usually working just fine but a conversion can get lost from time to time. The question is, how many of them are getting lost?

I see 5 in the Binom screen and 3 in clickdealer, so 2 out of 5 got lost? That would be too many and there might be a potential tech problem at clickdealers side... or at the advertiser(s) that they rotate offers from in their smartlink.

BTW: didn't you try to fire the postback yourself? If you launch the postback url in your browser with a real clickID in it, Binom would obviously record a conversion. Not saying it's the case, just want to make sure you didn't cause this yourself.

Usually it should be the opposite -> you should see it on the network side and could be missing in the tracker. This is strange. Did you try to hit up your AM at CD?

Though those 2 that are missing seems to have much shorter conversion time, basically seconds. Could be that they filtered it out and marked as fake/bot conversions? (just guessing)

Yes its 2 conversion lost. yes I also think so potential tech problem from clickdealer. Smartlink Price format is RevShare is it affect?

Yes I have test campaign through clickdealer inbuilt tool but I think that not an issue because its time are different also its not consider as conversion.

Reply from AM at CD : I will contact my tech team but I am not sure how we can help you further because these conversions dont exist here so there is no way we passed them.

Yeah may be that's the problem.

One possible issue came to my mind, I'm not sure how Binom works but isn't it possible that you are using multiple domains for tracking? So you'd send the click through a campaign url with domainA but your postback would have domainB in the url? I had some problems with Voluum due to this.

Got Reply from CD : yes we do not have those pixels in here do you continue to have this issue? maybe you can try again see if it continues.

I have stopped promoting that offer.

I am using only 1 domain for tracking.

Ok, try a different offer from a different advertisers, could be some tech problem on their side. The weird part is that CD says they didn't fire the pixels, but yeah, all kinds of weird things happen.

It's not possible you had problems with Voluum due to this because it doesn't matter what domain (domainA or domainB) is used in S2S postback as long as both domains are added to the same Voluum account. So if your campaign url and click url are built with domainA but affiliate network fires postback with domainB, conversion is still correctly registered in Voluum. It works like this only for S2S postback though, conversion pixel is a different story - for this one domains need to match.

Could be that I used the pixel, I'm not sure as it has been a while ago, I just remember there were some problems because of this. Thanks for the clarification
