Application for ad network

Hi,

I mailed some ad networks this weekend to take my first steps in affiliate marketing >> looking at native.

The problem is that they seem to be only interested in experienced aff marketeers with a track record? 😒

take a look at these questions...

a. What are your main traffic sources?
b. What other networks do you work with?
c. How long have u been in CPA marketing ?
d. You work in company or self-employed?
e. Could you send me a screenshot of your monthly earning history in other networks?(must have)
f. What kind of offers do you want to promote with us?

I did Search for years, but I am rather new at affiliate marketing. But of course have to start somewhere.
Mentioned my years of experience with SEA + STM forum.

Above are the questions of Clickdealer, someone told me they have a great network of offers.
Perhaps an alternative? Anyone?

Thx for any advice

Some networks prefer to work with experienced affiliates... well all of them do, but some are more likely to accept newbies than others.

Clickdealer shouldn't be that picky, you can even PM them directly here on the forum: https://stmforum.com/forum/member.php?2865-alice_cd

We also have a network application tool, try to use that: https://stmforum.com/central-vendor-app/

Another option is to browse our contact directory and hit some of the networks up: https://stmforum.com/affiliate-directory/ If you mention that you found their contact on STM, it should help a bit.

A great of getting contacts and getting easily accepted is to attend an affiliate conference and talk to network reps face to face, that always helps a lot. Not sure where in the world you are, but AWA 2019 is almost here, there will be a ton of networks : https://affiliateworldconferences.com/asia/

Unfortunately, affiliate marketing attracts a lot of scam artists.

When we (networks) are reviewing applications, we're doing a couple of things:

1. Trying to gauge what you've done to see how much "hand holding" you'll need.
2. Figure out if you're "legit."

Now, for the record - there's nothing wrong with a little bit of hand holding... But I do occasionally hear from new affiliates that say: "OK, so now that I have my link, how do I promote it?"

Affiliate managers should be able to help you better promote offers by evaluating your landing pages, suggesting best practices, etc. but many don't want to teach people how to do affiliate marketing.

Don't be intimidated by a lot of questions. If you haven't run traffic before or made anything, be up-front.
