Russian Affiliates and Markets?

How is affiliate marketing going on in Russia?
Because Russians mainly communicate in Russian language, it is hard for me to understand Russian affiliate marketing scenario.
I know there are many Russian affiliate marketing forums, websites etc and it seems Russian affiliates are quite smart/techy etc. And I think there are less regulations and more freedom in Russian affiliate marketing industry.

Please give some tips how we, non-Russians can make use of Russian Affiliate Industry.

There are quite a few russian affiliates here on the forum, as well as several affiliate networks and traffic sources from Russia ... adcombo, leadbit (russian aff. networks), propellerads (russian traffic source), zorbasmedia (russian affiliate news source).

Maybe try to get in touch with some of them, in order to get info about the local RU market.

In case you simply want to work with RU traffic, all you need is a translator to help you with the copy and just buy RU traffic, all networks have it.

As Russian I would say:
Don't go to Russian market haha, it is super saturated in terms of Nutra. Pin-submits are almost dead, because of carriers regulations. Also we don't have good sweepstakes and cc-subs. Gambling is super saturated too.
If you want to start with russian traffic, be ready that it is harder to get your first green in profits.

Russia itself I imagine is just as congested as other huge countries (US,UK, Canada etc) but when hit right the scale would be huge...

There are many other former soviet countries with decent ROI on offer right now, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia etc (COD, Dating, Gaming etc)

The Russian community itself would be awesome to learn more from, they're always coming up with many outside of the box ways of thinking for affiliate marketing haha, especially in the FB game. Adcombo as a network is easily one of the best we've ever worked with as well <3

I dont think that many people here on STM speak russian, except for the natives of course, so its hard to give you direct recommendations for russian resources. But many EN sites are actually owned by russians, so significant part of the RU affiliates do speak english too. To be honest, I don't think the ru affiliate market is all that different from any other, the AM fundamentals are the same everywhere. You're right about the regulations for example, RU market is less regulated for sure and more aggressive stuff is accepted there, but as I said already, all you need to work on the RU market is the help of some native to help you with copy transaltion. At least when talking about paid traffic, any EN network has russian traffic too.

There are definitely several native RU sources that you could buy traffic from, which can be a bit more complicated since the interface of these will likely be in russian, but google translate should help.

I guess it depends on what you actually plan to do on the RU market. Maybe try to be more specific with what you want to figure out and somebody might be able to give you more accurate tips.

At Affiliate world or other conferences there can be meetups/masterminds hosted by Russian networks that I've heard are beneficial

I believe there are russian telegram groups lol, of course mostly a lot of noise but probably some good tricks and tips in there - but you would need to understand russian ))

Kyiv conference is another one thats starting to trend only heard good things of it the last few years

The best Russian communities are private and some of them don't accept new members or the payment is too high. But what are you looking for there?
its the same as here , as Italian community or some other. All the info regarding marketing you can find here) if you want to work with Russian offers just use google translator or paid services) But believe me, if you want to read Russian forums, there will be a lot of untranslatable expressions to english!

If you need some texts to be interpreted from RU - to EN, ping us any time, we will help with the translations. There are lots of contents not yet discovered by the affiliates worldwide, but are well-known to CIS-guys. Just point out, what you wish to learn - we will help)
