Simple question. I am running a leadgen campaign on FB White Hat. Spending between 1k and 2k a day.
Can you collect push subscribers on a lander with facebook or is it against their policies?
I checked their policies but could not find anything about push notification not being allowed.
I am running a quiz lander at the moment but wanted to increase ROI and maybe go for advertorial + push subscription. I see a lot of affiliates in this vertical running advertorials
just wanted to check here before testing out
I am quite sure FB doesn't mind you collect push subscribers. BUT at the end it's all about user experience. If your main goal would be gaining push subs, or the push notification makes the "ad/lander" experience worse FB might punish you yes. If I would collect push subscribers I wouldn't put that script on the first page people landing on after the ad. Try to "hide" it at a second step/page.
thanks man, this makes sense
I think you can only collect on desktop as mobile uses facebook browser, so it doesnt work, specifically for one signal.
