I have a dating campaign that I’m just breaking even on, as usual I use a smart link on the back button to squeeze out some extra $$$. I was told that I can sell my back button traffic to places like exoclick. Is this true? & Any tips on how to go out it?

Hey Biggainz, you should be able to sell your back button traffic on monetizer as a publisher. There is also the option to collect push notification subscribers from your pre-lander and re-target the subscribers with offers in different verticals (for example sweepstakes). This might bring in some extra cash.

You can collect push subscribers on revshare basis with Monetizer.

I assume they will sell the traffic as blind redirect traffic, so the CPM on that will be quite low. In the end you have to test it, maybe you make really more in that way. Not sure if any network offers a dedicated selling of backbutton traffic but they all will buy it as blind redirect.

Yup, exo should buy it from you, but as Stefan mentioned, don't expect high rates.

Go to exo and signup as a publisher:



Then login as a publisher and setup a new site first, then a new zone. You will need to pick from the formats they offer, not sure which one will be the right one for this. They used to have a redirect link available, but I don't see it there now, it's been a while since I sold them some traffic for the last time.

In case exo wont work for this, you can try some other ad network, for example juicyads or ero-advertising, but exo used to pay the highest rates whenever I tested this, since they had the most buyers.

I just remembered that back in the days I also used to sell the traffic to JuicyAds and Plugrush, you may take a look at them too. What I liked about one of these was there was also a callback that if they cannot sold the traffic, they let you to redirect it somewhere else and sell it there.

as it was told, cpm will be low, i've tried several times. The offer monetization(smartlinks) brought me more, but if its specific geo, you have a chance to make smth more than nothing. Good luck! I not sure about exoclick, try to sell it to plugrush. Regards

Well, it definitely gives you a tiny edge. For desktop traffic I hardly makes 1% extra revenue with backbutton while in mobile its possible to get around 3-5%.

But in the latest Chrome update backbutton redirect scripts are getting patched. Here is the link if you want to read more ->(https://groups.google.com/a/chromium...Q/WSdOiOFcBAAJ), so don't expect to have significant clicks from this in the future as chrome is one of the biggest players are everyone else are gonna follow suit.
