BeMob - Extremely Underrated Tracker (20)

BeMob - Extremely Underrated Tracker

I recently had to search around for a tracker to support a small personal project. Voluum is my go-to for anything serious, but this was an untested and small time campaign with potential.

Getting things setup, I blew through a few of the bigger names that just ended with disappointment when compared to Voluum

voluum (industry standard, but expensive unless annual at small scale)
binom (great interface, some self hosted hassle and cost)
adsbridge (sloooow and confusing reporting)
redtrack (terrible UI)
thrive (found it involves a lot of clicking and adding stuff in different panels, plus geo/bot is extra)

It was then that I gave bemob a go, I wasn't really expecting anything to be honest as its never listed alongside the greats (prob due to not paying a big commission)

Gotta say... they have done an absolutely incredible job at cloning voluum. Core functionality wise, everything is there in the same familiar layout. Reporting is very fast and all the data is condensed making it very readable. All the UI elements are snappy and load instantly.

Mainly though, at small scale the pricing is unbeatable. There is a genuinely free plan at 100k events and the next tier is only $25 with the ability to pay for additional events. You dont even need to enter a credit card to start.

Definitely my new choice for small time projects before scaling to voluum (if needed)

I will second that. I have been using Bemob for a little bit more than 6 months now and I must say the price point is definitely worth. I have been using Voluum for around two years and their hefty price increase last year and the sudden lowering of price this year but they won't allow me to simply downgrade to their basic plan with alot of selling to prepay for 1 year at a discount really was the last straw to switch Bemob. And I am glad I did. As what Nickpeplow said it is alot like Voluum. We can say it is a clone of Voluum and the best thing you can get it for Free if you use less than 100,000 events a month.

Funny that you mention Bemob.

When spying on native over the past couple of months I saw Bemob showing up more and more.

I was always under the impression that it was some very low budget self-hosted tracker but after signing up for an account it looks quite cool.

Initially you might not get used to Bemob's interface especially when you are coming from Voluum due to the color scheme. But after awhile you get used to it and it is really very similar to Voluum in its functionality.

Thanks for your honest feedback about the trackers.

I'm a bit puzzled thou when I hear that about the UI. Details, please!

Really, if you could tell some more about what you do like and don't like in an interface of a tracker, that would be so helpful.

And we'll find a way to say thank you

Good timing, I need a tracker for a small project too and don't want to put it under any of the other accounts I have, so might as well try bemob. I know that this one has been around for a while, but never really took a close look at it from some reason, so time to correct that

Better comment like Redtrack and ask why exactly Nick isn't fond of Adsbridge (slow and confusing reporting) and how to help/improve, instead of pushing your Halloween offer. Just a tip!

I’ll try to do a video overview of my gripes for each tracker, along with the things that stood out as being nice. As I only spent a day or two testing without really any data, it’s certainly not a fair critique.

To be honest my intention wasn’t to disparage any tracker with this post, but to highlight bemob specifically.

Well, I didn't notice that quote where Nick is saying about our cons... Though, can see that the person is looking for new tracker to try and I suggested opportunity to get it for free.

At the same time, may I ask what is confusing about our reporting system and we will do our best to improve it!

So you just shamelessly plugged your offer without even bothering reading the OP's post.

Guys and girls, if you want to promote your offers, at least do it with valid points, not just spamming the forum here and there.

Just my 2 cents.

No, I didn't say that. I said that I didn't notice this part cuz I was answering another question. It seems that you also don't read my answers completely.

As I am a beginner and I cannot afford Voluum, I think I am gonna go with Bemob too. Thank you nickpeplow for creating this thread and sharing your opinion.

@nickpeplow - if you want to do a better review of RedTrack.io - you may ping us for demo / onboarding + we will activate some of the additional features like campaign automation, publisher panel etc.

We added so much stuff last 3 month that made UI a bit overcrowded indeed - so we working to clean it up.

Anyone checked out kintura yet? Looks promising

Sorry for the lack of video comparison. Somehow managed to snap (!) my Achilles’ tendon so not been especially active.
