When testing a new campaign, what's the criteria you go by?
Is there a set budget, conversion rate, do you test all hours of the day, etc.? Just trying to set more parameters for my testing so I don't burn the budget unnecessarily.

POP and PUSH for sweeps
Here's a screenshot with some stats. Trying to make sense of it.

Cannot see your payouts there, but you have some nice CR's and CPA's there on your screenshot.
Anyway numbers will tell you what you need to hit.
Calculate your profit and ROI and you will see according to that what you need to hit to be profitable.
Anything above green is then good, right?

I think the bottom line is what matters. Let's say you set a test budget of 100$ for an offer which it's payout is 20$ (CC submit of some sort for example) the payout symbolizes how hard it's going to be to achieve a conversion, that's why in essence it's a bigger payout. So i think that 40$ test budget with nothing might be a good time to stop it.
Conversion rate shouldn't be a thumb rule, when your running let's say a crypto offer, you can burn through 400$ with nothing and then a deposit of 600$. So you got something going. Should you stop it at that point? I think continue.
There is a lot of variables to take in consideration and for each offer and payout you are running you need to make different adjustments

I'm not a big fan of some default rules, but let's talk about some pointers at least
1. budget: this depends a lot on the payout of the offer you're promoting. The higher the payout, the higher budget you need, that's a norm. I'm usually working with about 10x of the payout for an initial test. So if they payout is $5, I spend about $50 on traffic to see if there is ANY chance to make it work. This can be higher or lower, based on the initial results. For example, if I'm using at least somewhat proven channel and I don't see a single conversion after $20 spent, I will pause it and look for problems. On the other hand, if I'm getting some conversions, but the data indicates some instability that might be caused by the rotation or time of the day or whatever, I will let it run for a longer period of time.
2. Conversion rate: it's really hard to set any target values here. Once you have enough experience, you can work with certain averages, but there are many factors that come into play here. For example, the price of the traffic ... with expensive clicks you need to convert better than with cheap traffic. I'm working with adult traffic and dating a lot, and based on my experience, I know that I need to hover somewhere in the 10% CVR rate in order to be profitable. But that's just a rough number again, sometimes 5% is enough, sometimes I need 15%.
3. hours of the day: My goal is always to be able to run 24/7. The performance is going up and down during the day and also changes based on the particular days, so if the data strongly supports this, you can resort to day or week parting. But as I said, the best situation is to run 24/7.
