Hey,
I've just started running some push campaigns, and I know this is a fairly wide questions when it comes to possible answers, but what sort of CTR's should I be looking for on Push in general?
I know it'll vary according to the offer, geo and traffic source, but I've got almost zero gauge considering i'm coming from PPC and Display.
Thanks!
In many cases it depends on how much you bid.
When you bid very low you will get impressions from people who are on the lists very long time so your CTR will be low. If you bid high you will get impressions from people who are on subscription list just a few days = high CTR.
On some traffic sources like Propeller you can also choose quality of traffic. On HQ you can expect CTR 2-7%, Medium 1-2%, LQ under 1%, sometimes as low as 0.2%.
Cheers, thanks!
At least I have some sort of guage of where I should be.
Thanks
If you want to get a good breakdown of the averages in this industry, I recommend that you checkout this link.
There you can find the average CTR for every geo along with daily bids and average CPC. Keep in mind that is is an average across all verticals and campaigns but it still could be helpful to see what others are doing.
Wanted to see some nice stats... instead that link says I should login to tableau server
Jaybot, the linked worked for me using desktop Chrome.
There it is!
Doesn't work on Safari at all...
Let me just share the screenshots here, so anyone can see the numbers

Depends from source to source and placement to placement, but in general, the freshest the users are on the push list, the higher the CTR.
