Planning a wise budget for push (3)
Hey STM, it's been quite a bit!
I was wondering what is a smart monthly budget to plan in order to be able to do a significant amount of testing with push traffic.
I know the more $$$ the better because more data means more accurate decisions/predictions, but what is enough investment for getting enough data to be able to find profitable campaigns? Consider tier 3 geos obviously, maybe italy too since I know the language..
I remember once vortex talking about how planning a recurring budget to invest in testing campaigns is a better overall feeling than having the pressure of a certain amount being "risked". So I want to try to adopt that mindset.
I see a lot of great information in this section, hopefully this thread can also help other people new to the traffic source when planning a budget to succeed.

Planning a monthly budget really depends on a lot of factors, your geos, your offers and campaigns, your personal finances and your experience level. some people start with just a couple hundred dollars. As for your testing budget, there isn't a clear answer without knowing the vertical and the offer. A good measure to use to start testing is setting the daily budget to 3x-5x the payouts.
