Welcome to my Ghost Town!

So, I'm running a bunch of offers, might as well show some pretty pics

MacBook offer in TW. Payout is super low. Like $0.30 or so low, so very hard to make a profit. But what the hey:



One of my surprisingly better angles, even if the pic looks boring.

Stats after two days:



Lots of fat to trim. CPC is about .9 right now. Definitely converts, but again, that low payout is low.

Will update as it goes on.

Hey Jaybot! The title for that ad is weird ... It's saying "MacBook Mobile Phone". But I'm surprised you got conversions, haha!

It's very hard to convert offers with payout like this. I would recommend you to try CC-Submits for this GEO. It should perform better!

Lol! It's even worse. It says Samsung MacBook Mobile Phone. It really shouldn't convert, but it does! First character should really be 你 too.

I think people probably click on it because 'wtf'? But yeah, so far it converts better than just '你免費獲得了壹臺 MacBook!點擊這裡領取' I have no idea why

I've heard this many times. It must be true. I should do that!

I'm only pushing it right now because my AM asked me because the advertiser asked me to run it again. I got the CR to 7% a few months back but dropped it because the low payout, as you said.

And I needed an excuse to build a mainstream BL for TW, this seemed like a good way to do that

If advertiser liked your traffic, you should take this opportunity to ask for a nice paybump! Tell your AM you’d like to run this offer, but its hard to make it work with such a low payout.

But for me, I’m with MrBraun, I’ll stick with CC submits too, haha.

Yeah, I wanted to mention this, but it doesn't make sense. If it's +30% it will be still low payout... Therefore I would run CC-Submits with $5-15 payouts
Maverick Media has tons of good CC-Offers.

Yes, I'm still running it.

No, it's not worth it.

But. The advertiser did bump it up all the way to $0.50 :P

Worth throwing a little more traffic at it.

That ad text looks so wrong! I'm so surprised it converts! You've tried using more "correct" text I assume? What are the results with that? Was a proper split-test done? Maybe try something like "您已赢得本公司免费赠送的MacBook电脑！请点击这里领取。"

Also: Since Megapush is pretty lax on approvals, I'm surprised you're not using more aggressive angles.

The payout really is low for push. Are you trying to use a low-payout offer to identify good and bad placements for cheap, so you could then run CC subs later? That could be a nice plan!

What spend have you reached so far across all your campaigns for the contest? How far away are you from the $500?

It's insane, I know! The cleaned up one with correct characters and grammar didn't convert at all. It makes no sense

Precisely!

Unfortunately, my main network doesn't have any good CC for TW, so I've contacted Maverick Media per mrbraun to see what they have available.

How far away are you from the $500?
About half way there. Trying not to blow it all at once
