iPhone Sweeps

Alright, so a new thread.

Daily updates? How's this?

Campaign ID: 88552

Source: All the feeds but 35
Title: Congratulations for a gift!
Description:Claim your prize now.
Device: All Android
Offer: iPhone X Sweeps
Landing page: Standard Spinners
Geo: ZA
Tracker: Voluum
CPC: 1.10
Click Limit: None, but budget limited to $10 for the first day.
The necessary details for creating creatives: Pulled from various push spy tools and adplexity mobile.

First day stats, looking at the feeds in megapush:

Not a lot of clicks, and it seems like none of the feeds were working except the main feed. Probably low CPC. That source in the main feed already ate up 2x payout, so I've disabled it.
One lead was posted back, but not the amount. Checked it in Voluum and it's working fine here. Probably some token weirdness.

So, it should actually look like this:

I'll raise the CPC and see if more feeds catch on.

Um. Yeah. That didn't do much. Take a look:

No more feeds opened up. This has happened a few times on mega... the camp is just broken. Sometimes the feeds and traffic just don't start. I mean, maybe the CTR is 0, but that's unlikely as I have similar camps on this and other sources which it's doing pretty well.

I'll start another and see how it goes.

So. I started a new camp. Almost the same. Slightly different creative:

Started with the 'fast' bid for yesterday, was around 2.2 CPC (which is honestly way high imo, but whatever)

As expected, a lot more feeds caught on:

Got 1 conversion. And paying way too much for clicks.

Tracker stats mostly match:

Went in to the feeds and disabled money sinks, as well as drilled down into some sources and cut those out as well.

Dropped the bid for now. Will report back tomorrow.

Looks like you're off to a good start but you're targeting Android and giving away Apple products. Try a Samsung sweep/cc submit instead mate

Yeah! Based on my tests Samsung offers work better than iPhone. Ofc, it depends on offer. Your creatives should work fine. It's a very good angle to run something like "You have a message from your local post". And landers with post designe. I recommend to try at least 2-3 different creatives.

Dropping straight into a CC submit on an untested traffic source isn't usually a good idea. After getting good placements straightened out, then running a CC submit usually works really well. Especially in Tier 2/3 countries that love using CC (FR, ES, PL, IT)

And I've never had a CC submit work in ZA. I don't think anyone has

That being said. Good point about running an iPhone offer on Android pushes. I've had it work on other sources, but S10 is probably a better idea

Holy shit! Advice from mrbraun! I'm honored!

Based on my testing, everyone wants an iPhone, especially people that hate their cheap Androids But.

I know you have done way more testing than me, so I will start testing more S10 offers.

So branded landers after the creative then? Then I can't share with my pops landers though...

But shit, yeah... that's a great idea!

I'll get working on that soon.

As for trying different creatives, I have a ton... but megapush has only one creative per campaign and doesn't rotate. Propeller and ZP are way better at that.

For megapush, you have to make a new campaign for each creative. Which makes things a lot more... manual :/

Yeah, but it's easy to create several campaigns in MegaPush. Just don't forget to put budget limit
And yes, as you run creatives with "post" angle, it's better to try LPs with this angle as well instead of regular spinners and questions

P.S. In this GEO I had good results with HUAWEI offers. May be you can try them as well!

That's weird. I made an update and it disappeared. Huh.

Anyway:

Dropped CPC too low, lost traffic, bumped it back up, got traffic back. Got another lead. Cut shit placements. Will continue.

On another note, why do camps keep Stopping?

Even if I raise the total budget, and it doesn't get reached, they keep randomly going into 'stopped' and I have to start them again.

I recommend to ask MegaPush about this. They have a good online-chat.

I don't recommend to share with sources your conversions. It's better to do all analytics in tracker.

This is an excellent point.

I honestly don't want to even share my creatives, or camp ID half of the shit I'm sharing but, per their rules here:

They want:

"
For example:

Test Campaign :
Source:
Title:
Description:
Device:
Offer:
Landing page:
Geo:
Tracker:
CPC:
Click Limit:
The necessary details for creating creatives:
"

And probably our first born child. And Mega has been really vague since that. Didn't clarify at all.

These aren't my main camps though, so I'm not too worried. Still, I'll just show tracker stats from now on. Thanks!

I just've looked again at your creatives. I don't recommend to run this type of images: https://take.ms/g6S8D
It's better to use devices in "real" life. For example, on the table or in hands. People trust it more and it looks not like an advertisement.
I use something like this: https://take.ms/G6oQV

A few people, including myself are running cc submits successfully in ZA. Might have been the offer you were pushing - but ZA is hard to crack, especially in the beginning.
Would test FR, DE, US first - by far more easy. Let me know if you need any offers and I'll hook you up

I'm not really a sweeps expert, but based on my own campaigns, samsung sweeps really worked better with push traffic. And from some reason, I had the best results with the high payout CC offers, the low payout SOIs always worked worse for me. But then again, there are many people who do better with SOIs, so it's all abotu finding what works the best for YOU

That's an excellent observation. And you are correct! You know what works even better? 'Real' people (not model-like) faces being happy or surprised while using the device. If you can work in cute (not hot!) girls in, all the better

I've retired this one, but this is an example of what can work really well:

10-06-2019 07:42 PM #16 mrbraun (Moderator)

Yes, this type of images can work nice!
And a small tip: You can find these images in Instagram, using hashtags. The quality is much better than from google.

So ran it another day or two and one more conversion. I switched over to a CC submit in the same region, once using spinners, and then using the 'express delivery' lander.

Nada.

Granted, I'm not pushing it that hard. But I want to get a feel for this source first before increasing spend.

Also switching over to an S10 sweep to see how it fares. I'll do that in a different thread just to confuse everyone... I mean, keep it separate!
