Facebook ads get noticed more in new Facebook Timeline.
While 43% of participants noticed Facebook “sponsored stories” in the old profile format, 63% noticed the ads in the Timeline format.
Participants spent the same amount of time on average looking at the ads in (the old vs new) profile.
Thats good news i still wonder how many people have adopted it fully...most profiles I still see don't have it....
Nice study and makes sense considering the ads are floating/anchored to the side. Too bad not too many people have adopted the Timeline like polarbacon said.
Exactly. I really wonder if Facebook would make it compulsory for everyone to adopt the new timeline layout. To me FB is now screwing things up. I think there's only 10% of my friends in FB (1k friends) who are on Timeline.
Others are still like.... "Hey how did you make your profile like that? That's cool!"
