Does anyone here have any tips/tricks on improving the CTR when bidding on competitors brand keywords?
We're getting really cheap conversions, but I'm stuck with 5% CTR and that really hurst me when I see how money is available.
I've tested a couple of ad copies, added as many sitelinks as possible and I'm bidding as high as possible.
Is there anything else I can do to get bigger chunk of the traffic?
Thanks!
The last time I was managing an adwords campaign for an ecom client, what worked the best for us in terms of brand bidding, was using "comparative" angles that showed how our product was better.
It was a completely different product from yours, but still, it might work
Here are examples of what we used. Let me add that the competitors we did this with didn't have their brands trademarked, otherwise it wouldn't fly with google due to their policies. At least that was the situation when we were doing this, not sure about the current conditions.
Same quality as Brand A, faster shipping.
Our product is like Brand A on steroids.
Better reviews than Brand A.
Have Brand A already, try our product too.
Those were not the exact ad texts we used, but you get the idea.
Have you tried something like this?
Thanks, @matuloo.
I will definitively try this out ASAP.
Only one competitor has a registered trademark so probably this would work.
Based on this, maybe we can do even dedicated landing pages to convince users to decide for our product.
Awesome, this is what I was looking for.
Thanks!
