Best vertical for newbie Facebook Ads?

I never ran an ad campaign before and would like some input on what kind of offers or vertical would be best for a beginner.

I remember reading that I should try to stick to one traffic source and one vertical.

And also a followup question - Which affiliate networks should I apply to if my main focus is Facebook traffic?

Sweepstakes is the most easy vertical to start with.

Gotzha has a lot of sweeps available.
