New to AM

Hey guys!

New to this world and am excited to learn & get started. Ran through the on boarding guides and I noticed they are dated 2014/2015. Would you guys still recommend that to be the start point or would anything I learn there be outdated? I’m sure this industry, like any industry, doesn’t have a “one size fits all” answer but just looking for the best general direction to get started about learning it & growing in it. Thanks ahead of time to anybody who takes the time respond. Appreciated!

Nice man welcome! Any ideas on what route you want to take? And I didn't go to deep in the boarding guides so I'll let someone else answer that

Thank you thank you! No idea honestly. From what I can gather, pops is the best start just because of the fact you can learn well and it’s manageable with a relatively lower budget. Native too maybe after that, just as that way I can develop/strengthen a lot of the skills that really can help to excel in this field

Start with pops and Vortex's 40 day guide. Best way to get your feet wet, get familiar with tracking, hosting, spying, landers, and buying ads.

Once you've got the hang of that, you can transition to push easily. Push builds upon your pops and simply adds another layer before the lander page by using an banner+text creative.

Once you've got the hang of that, Natives are a really smooth transition if you've got the money to spend on testing.

Or, you can use your existing landers (from pops) snd creatives (from push) and try to play with FB ads.

my man, in a interview with frank kern he stated he has a friend/knows a guy that grew a massive business in today's time off newspaper ads. Let that sink in. So anything you choose you can definitely make money with as long as you keep with it and hone in. Personally i would do pops to get my feet wet which i did thanks to vortex's guide then moved to native.

Actually heres the interview with frank kern. this channel is amazing i highly recommend everyone reading this too take a look. Every single interview i watched i always learn something to take with me.
