Revcontent CPA ROI or Engagement?

Hi,

For all of my Revc campaigns I have been using the Engagement option but I am wondering if it is better to use CPA ROI?

What do other people use?

And how do you set this up? Place the Pixel on the offer thank you page?

I am also using the S2S Postback so would this result in conversion being tracked twice?

Thanks.

I've always done CPA, but I've never passed conversions to Revc so I have no idea if it makes any difference in that case.

I just choose CPA on the off chance that there's some algorithmic difference between the two where they're more inclined to send you more/less bad clicks that way. No idea if that's the case though!

I've tried to pass conversions to Revc via postback actually but never been able to get it to work (although I haven't tried as hard as I could and I'm sure it's possible to do so).

I'm running all my Revcontent campaigns on Engagement.

Thanks for bringing this up, I'm actually curious about CPA ROI too!

Makes no difference. But you should be passing back conversions to your traffic source. Makes optimization easier.

To run an actual CPA based campaign you want to create a new 'autoboost' and ideally use postback tracking for better accuracy as their pixel didn't fire like 25% of the time I found.

I had good success with autoboost campaigns but I think they changed some things recently with it and not as many are using it. There needs to be conversion data built up for your ads and the vertical to make it work.
