I have never spent so much time getting ads rejected at any ad network. Wanting to try another traffic source, I was recommended MGID.
I took the exact same ads I was running on many other platforms and threw them up. Deposited $500 in my account so I could get personal help.
What I got was rejection after rejection. No reason was ever stated.
The first campaign was apparently too political. Ok, let's move on. The next campaign I set up was to give away our RFID Scan blockers. Example of one in this post, and that was the only one that said "free". The rest were rejected as well.
Context: We have sold over a million of these since 2012.
I set up my ads, 5 hours later denied. No reason given.
I just wrote my rep and told him to shut this joke of an account down. I want my money back.
I don't know WTF their problem is, but I am out of fucks to give.
More context: Currently doing 8 figures a year on FB.
Final Recommendation: Have time to waste? Love rejection? Don't even think of going to your local bar. You can get all the rejection you need right from the comfort of your own home by MGID!
Have hard to get approved for MGID campaigns too. Sucks!
Yea, its a pain in the ass. Need a whole separate funnel to get approved. I still have a bunch of $$ stuck on there that I need to spend.
Perhaps read their t&c’s better? They have all the right to disapprove ads if they want.
Or does their t&c not align with the actual policy they carry out on the platform?

A casual reading of their T&C doesn't reveal anything different from any other ad network.
When I was pimping Diabetes, the winning image was a couple of fried eggs in a pan. It wasn't my image, literally a 100 marketers were using it on adplexity.
MGID said the image was too shocking.
It was two fried eggs, not even a close up.
These guys have their heads so far up their asses that it doesn't make sense to waste time on there considering there are better sources.
Today they tell me the reason my ad got disapproved was that I need to show a clickable link to the video I used on the lander. They said they wanted to know where I got the video.

I got it from Fox News you Fucking Twats. It says right on there!!!!!
Ad and LP rejections are a big issue for lots of media buyers coming over to native. Not everything is going to be in their terms or guidelines, and they have their own internal policies as well.
Sometimes you'll submit a series of ads and a few will be denied while rest will go through. It happens.
If you have a good rep they can tell you what you need to change. Revcontent tends to give you pretty detailed emails on what to change.
But yeah for a presumably ecom gadget campaign like that I'd focus on Taboola, Outbrain, and Gemini. Your ad image kinda sucks for native though - real people tend to get much more clicks.
The Fox video isn't going to fly there though I can almost guarantee it.
