Convert Greek iPhone offers (7)
Hi all,
Doing sweeps for years but till today I can’t convert Greece offers good. The epc is around 0.07, tested loads of offer (payout $5-12) and can’t get it convert good.
Are there any tips, because on same offers I see people doing 0.44 epc.
My lander is simple and traffic is from Fb

I have a similar problem with some GEOs, no matter what I try I cannot make them work.
In some cases, its a problem related to the GEO, there simply aren't good-enough offers so they cannot perform well on scale. Are you sure that many affiliates are reaching solid numbers in GR It might be just a few individuals that have some kind of edge, who are driving the EPC up. Any idea about the volumes?
Sometimes it's a GEO that relies on local slang a lot, so you need a very good translator to write the right copy for you. Are you ripping the LPs, or did you get some copy translated? The problem might be there.
Maybe your FB targeting isn't right for this particular market, but since you mentioned you're running sweeps for years in other countries, I doubt this would be the reason.
Sorry that I can't be of more help, maybe someone else will tune in with better advice. @stickupkid is heavily into sweeps, he might have some tips for you.
Yeah, we already spoke about it on Skype. My guess (and also based on some experience) is the amount of billable people in Greece is very low, hence no pixel fired/sale registered. Most advertisers only pay for billable consumers, some on lead tho', but I guess in Greece that's not an option to be honest.
I have tried Greece some times and experienced the same. Cyprus was better by the way, maybe some PINS available there?
The ones reaching a high epc probably use a LLA database with billable consumers (or other targeting trick), or they are heavily agressive with their angle...
I dont know about the current Greek situation, since Im a bit out of pins, but Greece was really really heavily raped 2 years ago..
with sweeps.. ryanair or isp coupon type of lander.. direct to terminal, wap billing, but the terminals were modified, terms etc removed.. in
agreement with 3rd party biller, and it was all ip targeting.
I tried running them but also got negative. While at same time getting info from biller direct, that guys are making crazy money.
No idea about the current situation, but market got seriousely raped.

We tried doing iPhone sweeps in many GEO's a year or so ago and for the life of us couldn't get any to convert. Tried many different angles. I think some GEO's are just not really that easy. Also there are other things like translation of landing pages can be an issue or certain areas people just don't even know what iPhones are. hahaha

But who knows, maybe you are right.But anyways, did you try just SOI sweeps or CC submits too? I was quite surprised, but for me it was easier to reach profits with the higher paying CC submits than with SOI sweeps... usually it's the other way around with whatever vertical I test.
