How to Handel - Smart CPS on Mobipium
When i run the campaign for first time i saw green average +76% ROI, i got the list of top 10 geos but could only run on top 8 (PopAds was showing some msg).
So turkey was showing most ROI (+1000%) and matching it against the CPA provided by AM it made sense to run PopAds on Traffic source of turkey, but this time i was for a shock!
Even though the overall conversation increase i was on a loss, because the CPA for turkey went from 0.05 to 0.01!
I asked my AM and he said "Now we have smart cps, the payout is automatically adjusted for your traffic".
What should i do now? I'm thinking even though it's "smart cps", If i use Voluum then i can see and thus take action on what geo is working and which one isn't.
am i right or wrong here?
Can anyone help me on this?
So far on this i have spend $6.99 and made $6.403, The last two campaigns were not profitable because of smart cps and not using a proper tracker i think.
What should i do in this situation?
ps. I tried using Voluum with mobipium, but i think the integration isn't properly done, since i can see conversions on mobipium but not on voluum. I followed vortex's guide and official voluum docs, can anyone tell me what i might have done wrong?
On voluum I am using a custom domain(set using cname) and callback and parameters on mobipium.
Thanks

Nice to see that you've made some progress!
Using a tracker won't help you decide which geo is working and which isn't - because you're already targeting individual geos (e.g. Turkey).
Plus, subscribing to a tracker costs money. And because this type of offers makes small profits from massive amounts of traffic, using something like Voluum which charges based on impressions won't make sense financially. But if you'd like to give that a shot, here's a guide on how to set up tracking for Mobipium on Voluum:
https://stmforum.com/forum/showthrea...gn-with-voluum
This $1 guide is only meant to be a simple exercise for you to get your foot in the door, so to speak, by providing you with the easiest way possible to set up your first campaign and make your first conversions.
In order to achieve greater profits, I would STRONGLY suggest that you learn how to use landing pages to promote individual offers, and not run a push smartlink. You'll learn how to do all that in the 40-day tutorial.
Have fun!

btw - I plan to use Tracker with top 10 GEOs and then decide, I think using Tracker is the only way to handle smart cpm, or it's not?

Tracker will always be an important part in the process of analyzing the performance of your campaigns as it provides a quick overview of the overall performance and makes it easy to spot under-performing placements, creatives etc ... But still, it just displays the data it has, so it's not a magical solution that will turn your campaign green or anything like that.
The smart CPS you are talking about is a thing of the affiliate network, so in other words, what they are willing to pay for the traffic you are sending them. This is calculated based on the conversions and their performance at the backend. They likely have a system in place that adjusts the rate based on how many push subscriptions and possibly clicks are generated from the traffic you send them. Since this is probably a dynamic value, adjusted a couple times a day, you need to give it some time and analyze the data after a given period a time. It would be a good idea to ask your AM for more details on how this smartCPS is calculated and how often it changes. Also, is it a value set for your entire account, or is it tied to some ID that you could pass them?
In case it's a per-account value, it will make the optimization much harder now, since you won't be able to detect the "better" zones and focus on those. The only option would be to just run the traffic and analyze the data once a day or so (based on how often they calculate the CPS) to see if it shows promise or not.
This CPS can also be influenced on how big demand they have in certain GEOs, so it could fluctuate a bit.
One way or another, more info from the AM would help, so you know exactly how it's calculated and what could be done to increase it.

I would talk with the AM first to see if they can provide any useful info, then we can decide on what to do next.
This can depend on the GEO a lot, maybe they lost a big buyer in TK and this caused the CPS to go down that much, but other GEOs might still work fine.

If you plan on running this campaign in more geos, you can definitely group campaigns' performance by country (i.e. apply "Country" grouping to a report of a traffic source (PopAds) if you create a separate campaign for every geo) and read your data then. But as matuloo pointed out, more info from your AM on Smart CPS is essential in this case as your payout might be influenced by different factors, it would be good to know exactly how it's calculated and what approach is best to increase it.

On voluum I am using a custom domain(set using cname) and callback and
parameters on mobipium.
If you're seeing conversions when you log into Mobipium, but they're not registered in Voluum, then you either:
Forgot to append Voluum {clickid} token to your offer link, when you added the offer to the Voluum -
for Mobipium you should have added "tid={clickid} to your offer url in Voluum
OR
Didn't insert the tokens properly when saving the postback ur -
Did you add your Voluum postback url "https://your_custom_domain/postback?cid={tid}&payout={pay}" to Mobipium (in Pixel tab under Please provide you callback URL here?
If both things were done correctly, you can also check your error log in Voluum for
invalid conversion request. This can give you more info on what's wrong with your postback.
To view it, simply click the
Error log tab.
Then, drill down to see individual errors.

If there are any errors there, I can take a look at them if you like. Just provide me with a screenshot.

You can play more with the $1 guide if you wish! But it's very rudimentary, so is only meant to give you a taste of what running paid traffic is like.
You're encouraged to go through the 40-day tutorial when you're ready to learn how to run individual offers using presell (landing) pages - which, if you wish to give this business a serious try, will benefit you.
