Facebook pixel and cloaking.

Hello, I am still kind of new to blackhat marketing but I'm really interested.

I've been tweaking facebook ads for a while. I usually use the traffic campaign, but I feel it's not optimized. My landing page is cloaked. Can I use facebook pixel so I can get the statistic of the cost of per leads? Or facebook pixel and cloaking is just a bad idea and just stick with traffic campaign? Thanks.

Pixels always good to use, it’s a helpful tool.

Cloaking not per se. Depends on angle and vertical mainly. If you are doing agressive nutra or casino it might be smarter to cloak...

Use the pixel no worries mate, it will help your campaigns - an early lead/purchase (in first few k impressions) usually means the account is going to be a better performer then one if it doesn't. We always run conversion camps (lead optimising for COD)

Bro the pixel is like the most important thing on fb as far as optimization goes (ie assuming you get your ads up and spending). They do all the work of optimizing for you. You just give it some ad variations and youre off to the races

Wait, but we cant just put the pixel there, you gotta use a img pixel only and not the js, isn't that right? I actually have some trouble with it, cause i was putting the pixel img url on Voluum I'd get the conversions under pixel events, however not on the campaign itself. What would be the best way to put a fb pixel on cake or hasoffers when they don't accept it, putting a lead or AddToCart as a clickout to the offer in the lander? (cloaked)

As you mentioned already, cake doesn't always support pixel code. Only of the advertiser does. So the second best way to is to fire the pixel on a click event. You can follow this guide on how to do it: https://iamattila.com/media-buying-1...our-lander.php

When we use cloaka, we put Pixel on the Thank you page of landing.

Hey everyone, I'm also interested in that topic, I hope you don't mind if I will ask my question here :-)

I'm confused where I should place base code of fb pixel, they says to put it on every page of my website so should I put it on my money page, safe page and thankyou page ?
I think it will reveal to them my money page which I'm trying to avoid by using cloaker so should I place it just on safe page and thank you page ?

My landing page set-up looks like this (safe page, money page and thankyou page are on the same domain, no redirections) :

Cloaker code define traffic :

/ Good traffic goes to money page -----> next is network offer -----> after offer is completed they coming back to my thank-you page.
/ Bot traffic and reviewers land on safe page

I want to track conversions (so I will place conversion event on thank you page) and eventually clicks but to get that, I would have to place an click/view event on my money page and I'm not sure if I should do that.

Eventually if I will place a pixel code and pixel event only in thank-you page, then facebook still will be able to track it ? User at facebook click on my ad, goes to my website, get redirected to an offer and after offer completion he comes back to my thank-you page and fb pixel will fire, I'm only worried that facebook will lost his track in that case.

Yes, that's a pretty common funnel actually, I don't see any issue with Facebook tracking it.

Another option you have is cloaking the pixel too, here's a guide to do it

Yes. It is necessary to put a pixel on the page "thank you". Thus facebook will not understand where the person came from
