🖨💰How to Print $$$ with Monetizer & Push
🖨💰 How to Print $$$ with Monetizer & Push
Back in the days when I ran pop traffic,
Monetizer used to be my favorite tool for additional monetization on my landing pages.
I usually used it on back buttons, so even when people left my landing page, there was still chance that I will squeeze some extra $$$ from them.
Monetizer is still alive and kicking and now with the popularity of push traffic they recently added some kickass features that I wanted to share with you guys.
Did you know that Monetizer now collects push subscribers on the pages where you send your remnant / or back button traffic?
Additionally you also get paid a cut from what they make from those subscribers as they sell push traffic on the Advertizer traffic source side.
Also just couple of days ago they added these kickass stats, so you can
monitor your push subscribers and $$$ you made out of them.
You can see how many subscribers you have, from which geo's and how much revenue they made.
How does it work?
Monetizer collects push subscribers from Chrome traffic you send to your Monetizer links.
We then sell ads to these subscribers on Advertizer and share the revenue with you.
The
#aggressive vertical works best for this, but all Monetizer verticals collect Push Subscribers on Chrome.
You can opt-out of push collection at any time by adding &np=1 to the end of your Monetizer links (useful if your traffic source doesn't allow this).
We're working on providing an external javascript tag you can use on your landing pages outside of Monetizer. Stay tuned for updates!
I started to use this just recently and I have it only on my back button, but here are my stats so far:
I could probably squeeze out much more as they say that the
#aggressive vertical is working much better, which I do not run yet.
I'm curious to see some of your stats as well, let us know what works for you!
Cheers!

Glad to hear you're rocking it!
This new push rev share feature has been a hit for Monetizer!

Yeah, btw although it doesn't look much, I have to note that this revenue is only from the revshare monetization, there is much more made from the usual offer conversions as well!

Wow, so cool. And now for the dumb questions:
1. How exactly do you get push subscribers
2. Once you have them, what mechanism pushes your offers to them.

Hey @taormina, good questions!
1. How exactly do you get push subscribers
The nice thing about this is that you don't have to do anything extra!
You use the monetizer as usually (can direct link, can use it on back button etc.) and they do the hard work for you ie. they collect push subscribers on the landing pages.
2. Once you have them, what mechanism pushes your offers to them.
Once you collected push subscribers, monetizer send them pushes automatically. In fact it's Advertizer (the traffic source side of Monetizer) where advertisers buy push traffic and they push to your list. You then get a revshare from advertisers spend as long as you have those subscribers sticked to your list

Very nice @erikgyepes!
Additionally you also get paid a cut from what they make from those subscribers as they sell push traffic on the Advertizer traffic source side.
I can confirm that this method works. I know of at least one person that was making a nice passive income from this for a while.
However, subscribers will unsubscribe, so in order to keep that revenue growing, you'll need to keep adding more subscribers - at a higher rate than the unsubscribe rate.
This one's definitely going in the newsletter!

Hm... pretty sure my quality of sub (or the geo of them) is a lot lower compared to @erikgyepes.
My stats:

Anyways currently hard to compare whether this makes more $$ or just running a smartlink for the same traffic since you can't track the lifetime value of a sub, would be nice if they had this statistic show up (and ideally broken down into geo or collection link).

Thanks for sharing your stats with us!
Hope more people will join us soon!
Here is update from me:
As for the quality of subs -> mine are mostly from Tier 1 to Tier 2 geos, so that could make a difference as those geos are more valuable (expensive for advertisers).
As you can see I have just a half of subscribers as you, but 4x more revenue from them.

@sushiparlour, where your subs are based makes a huge difference in terms of value, we've just added the average CPC price per GEO to your subs list to make this easier.
Compare TH vs NZ in this example: https://www.screencast.com/t/HDrwIyVYA4Ab
We'll soon be adding Tags so you can tag specific landers or links to see exactly how much they make vs the other subs you already have.
This will be an easy way to check your LTV and allow affiliates to make campaigns for sub arbitrage

I think, if it is easier to roll out, an overall personal revenue generated by geo would be helpful because currently I have no idea whether my revenue is coming from Tier 1 geo which I have less subs or Tier 3 geo which I have tons of subs or how many push is being sent to which geo etc.

Tags will help with this, since you can Tag specific links, if that link is only catching one GEO for example, you can swap the stats view to view only your chosen tag.
But the other suggestions are great, we'll see if we can get those in

Thanks for sharing this, 4 days in and these are my stats:

This is from back button redirect only, at least with monetizer the remnant traffic that would have bounced otherwise is now instantly monetized.
This is only 50% though (other half is being sent to our own Push subscriber collecting page)

Ok. @sushiparlour finally lit the fire under my ass to implement this. I’m simply using the domain js script on all my landers. I’ll post the stats when they’re less embarrassing compared to you guys
BB script redirects to a smart link I get how to do set up stats but... Any idea how to get the lander page js script subscriber stats into a campaign on Voluum?

You can use tag and manually track but otherwise there isn't a way at the moment, I've been trying to do that as well.

Hmmm, perhaps I should add a few more push subscribers, then I can keep up with you guys! I sent one email to my list a few days ago to add those, perhaps I should send more.

Actually I do have two other push subscriber windows I use to monetize traffic, but hey, three is better than two!

It's been awhile, I figured this thread could use a bump:

Nothing spectacular like diplomat or sushi, but it's still there. Getting a consistent $30-35 a day.
Overall, it seems to have leveled off since Oct/Nov and it's just a source of nice backup income.
I imagine if I were running higher volume on pops and push I could push it a lot higher, but I'm simply not at the level yet.
How you other cats doing?

@jaybot nice passive on $35 a day!
I've just checked and noticed quite a few new accounts joining up and doing awesome straight off the bat, here's a few:
From 27k active in US:
https://prnt.sc/qohwv6
From 120k active in IT/HU/UA:
https://prnt.sc/qoh2n6

Well, it was a good passive $40-50/d for a couple months, but I ain't complaining

That's hard to do unless I actively focused on just Monetizer. I'll get there

Yup! U.S eCPMs haven't been this good for well over a year!

damn my sub list is only at 11k but the earnings is getting smaller and smaller overtime - I started setting the push to send after 1 hour and jsut 5 times a day
01-17-2020Â 03:09 PM

Monetizer (Member)
@ianternet are you still adding new subs to the list or is this an aging list from the past?
setting to 5 a day will be super low income vs the auto setting
but i presume your doing this to avoid unsubs?
the main issue is the users subbbing to other lists whilst being subbed to you, and clicking unsub from all option due to the other lists spamming them - so you end up losing them even though you are barely sending pushes
