Advice Needed - Focusing versus Diversifying

Hi, I would love some advice.

I've got a SMS2Click offer that is doing great.

Doing in the low hunderds per day in revenue and climbing steadily as I've been scaling it the last 2 weeks.
But my AM keeps telling me to 'diversify' and start pushing traffic to some of his other offers as well???

His rationale is not to put too many eggs in one basket.

My current thinking is that long term I'll want to diversify ...
... but short term I'm just going to focus on scaling the sh^t out of an offer that is doing well.

So - Am I missing something?

What do you think.

Should I keep focusing and scaling the offer that works right now (even though it could fall over)... or take the AM's advice and start diversifying?
Or maybe do a mix of both?

This depends on how stable that offer is and how reliable that advertiser is. The AM might have some insider info, that indicates possible short life of that offer, for example.

Generally speaking, it's always a good idea to diversify, EVERY offer will come to an end, so eventually you will have to start running something else anyways.

In all honesty, it's always better to not depend on just one offer, you never know what's gonna happen. The advertiser might turn out to be a fraudster and refuse to pay for the leads, which might end up with not getting paid... but that's part of the risks in AM.

On the other hand, it would be silly to not milk the current offer for what it's worth, while it's still performing well.

If you have the resources and time to focus on more offers right now, then definitely do it and diversify. But if this would take away your focus and limit the possible profit from the currently working offer, I would say just focus on what's working now.

I prefer to focus on one offer and get the most out of it, if potential audience size is big enough (1 million plus) and the offer/advertiser is stable (in every sense). Probably I make 100k with a good ROI out of it, because I am not distracted by other campaigns/signals/angles/ads/text etc.... where others make 50k out of it, because they launch more campaigns (so less time to optimize the other one).

Whatever suits you best man.

I am not going to stress if my campaign goes down, for some reason, and I have to search for another geo/offer/angle combination to hit another new jackpot. This could take 1-4 weeks sometimes (and some testing budgets), so if you are tense and quickly stressed because of this downtime/no-income, better spread yeah!

@matuloo @stickupkid

Thanks for the advice.

I'm going to stick with focusing on this offer for the moment but your advice has made me realize I will also:

1). Systemize/automate/outsource the Scaling Process so I can do it quicker. In the future I want to be able to scale more than 1 offer at a time (or scale it faster so I can focus on the next hot offer sooner).

BTW, I'm running Sweeps on Pops and Push at the moment.
Do you guys have any suggestions on speeding up the Scaling process (i.e. automation, systemization or outsourcing)?
Or have any suggestion on who I should talk to about this?

2) Make sure I have a pipeline of offers I can quickly go onto if this one falls over. I've actually already done this and know of a few good offers (but on smaller geos) that I found when I did my initialy search and found this hot offer I'm currently scaling :-)
