ecom + Native ads?
Hi,
Does native ads + ecom offers work well? If yes, whats the best network to look at for promoting ecom?

Hi @psychicboy ! I never run ecomm+native, but from what I've seen you can give a look at GiddyUp or M4trix for ecomm offers that can work on native.

Ecom offers are among the top offers being run on native. DFO is another network to look at.

Yes. They are.
And I'll second thedude, DFO is a great network, as is GiddyUp. Can't recommend them enough.

I am not able to find enough case studies on STM for driving traffic to ecom offers via Native ads. I did see @thedudeabides posted a case study for ecom offer which I guess didnt perform good.
I am trying to understand the scope of running ecom offers via Native ads. Someone told me that there is not enough database of ecom offers through spy tools as well. This would probably mean that ecom offers do not work good with native ads or not enough people have tried it.
Can anyone throw some light/share insights?
TIA.

Spy tools aren't the be-all end-all of research. They're great for seeing what landers and ads are being run, and seeing how long a campaign has been running for, but the information they show can be misleading if you don't know what you're looking for.
Ask your traffic rep how much is being spent daily on ecom offers, either among their advertisers and/or across the network. On a smaller network it's probably 4-5 figures/day and the larger ones like Taboola and Outbrain are well into the 5 if not 6 figure mark.

I don't know of any specific case studies or anything like that, but if you are looking for a thorough understanding of ecom on native I think your best bet (and only bet) is just spending a bunch of time on Adplexity/Anstrex looking at them. Or manually spy on a bunch of big native-ad-monetized websites like CNN/MSN/Business Insider/Livestly/etc.
Definitely tons of ecom being run on it though, but it's mostly big affiliate networks like DFO and GiddyUp selling 'gadgets' with wide appeal and high price points, rather than the sort of
Shopify Store/Dropshipping thing that was/is so common on Facebook ads, and which is talked about so much on Youtube IM channels.
Not sure if that helps but yeah, I don't think natives are big enough for there to be any case studies specifically on the confluence of native + ecom, so really the only way to get clarity on the combination is through spending a bunch of time on spytools.

Before the US election I ran some jewelry Shopify dropshippinng on RC, Spoutable and some others native ad exchanges.
It was working great, but we were not able to scale because we fucked up our cashflow with some other stuff.
Anyway, below is LP, top performing ads and some stats from GA.
Funnel: Native Ads -> Advertorial -> Shopify Product product page

Broad product, good funnel and some creativity when if comes to targeting/angle and it can work for sure.
Cheers,

@wakeboarder This is dope! Thanks for sharing this. So far it looks like I am in the right direction. Did you drive direct to Shopify product page from this advertorial landing page? Or did you had a sales page? Would you mind sharing how did you sales page/product page looked like?
Thanks man!

Traffic from this advertorial went straight to the product page on Shopify. Basic product page with some nice photos and short product description and video how one guy is holding the bracelet in his hands with snow-white sommelier gloves on.
Sorry, I can't share the product page because the store is not active anymore.
