"Rogue Web sites that steal America's innovative and creative products attract more than 53 billion visits a year and threaten more than 19 million American jobs."

Where do they even come up with BS like that?

Ya the thing is that worries me is the IP blocking they can do....

AND

the fact that using any kinda VPN could be considered "criminal" if its used to access the site...that getting IP blocked....

talk about big brother.....

also the fact that those with teams of lawyers could wreck havoc on things like wikileaks....to me its so against the 1st amendment....so much so that you criminalize those who seek truth and block those who wish to speak it....

seriously bad shit....esp if your a start up....this act if it had been in place when youtube started....would have basically killed it....

its guilty till proven innocent

I could rant on....but I'd rather you just do what you can to oppose shit like this....

Their page on "rogue websites" is pretty ridiculous: http://www.mpaa.org/contentprotection/roguewebsites

Watch the 2nd video, accusing sites like solarmovie.eu of identity theft?

That website reminds me of a farticle, everything on it is bullshit.

As a Canadian, seeing the changes in America over these last 10 years have been like watching a friend from high school get hooked on meth and train wreck his entire life. You Americans really need to hold your politicians accountable for the bullshit that they keep trying to pull. Please get in touch with your member of congress and tell them they will not be elected to another term if they support this bullshit bill.

The idiots trying to pass SOPA can't even be bothered to understand the full implications of the bill, see video.

Congress is filled with a bunch of old men trying to control a world they no longer understand.

GoDaddy losing ~70,000 customer due to supporting SOPA...

First the CEO kills an elephant on camera, now this, what a genius.
