I'm talking to the owner of a small 1999 style website that gets intl traffic
His regular advertiser program = your banner gets put into rotation with 10 other crappy small banners on inner pages that get 0 traffic
I found this out after paying him for the regular program
I'm now trying to rescue the campaign because otherwise there's no way I'll see any ROI
I know a bunch of guys, esp Casinos buy text links all the time and I'm wondering if you have any general tips as to how I should start the negotiation.
sounds to me like something isn't quite right with the buy....did you get an IO?
I'm assuming this was a pretty small buy? So there pro wasn't an IO
Tell him you like his traffic, but your not nearly seeing enough for what you paid (assuming this is true).
After that tell him you'd like to buy a 3month package but you need more traffic to judge for sure and ask him how you can receive 5x the traffic your receiving now, and the price.
