TrafficJunky - is 40% click loss normal for Tier 1?

Hey guys,

I'm running a campaign on CA in TrafficJunky, and I've been noticing a much higher amount of click loss than usual... or maybe I have just started noticing it.

For Aug 22nd, TJ reports 476 clicks, while Voluum reports 298.

That's almost a 40% click loss....

Is this normal? Could it be that Voluum isn't recording all the clicks coming through? Because I do notice my LP CTRs increased...

Or is the error on TJ side reporting more clicks than reality?

That seems to be a huge discrepancy.

If I remember from your last post you were running on Youporn mobile?

Youporn mobile has been shit lately, but 40% is too much. My clickloss is about 8-10%. I don't run in CA so I don't know, but in other geos this is what I notice.

I think the discrepancy is caused because TJ counts every click (including bots/vpns) and I think Voluum filters some of that out. I'm not sure if this is the reason, but this is what TJ support told me.

This of course assumes there isn't something wrong with your lander, but 40% is way too much.

TJ is real buggy these days smh.

Im not sayin don't run on YP, RT, PH etc. it's just you gotta be aware that the numbers are off.

So for example when I run on YP, I know that my CPC is gonna be 10% higher than what TJ is showing because of the clickloss, so I use that to my knowledge when judging the results of a campaign.

These days bots are everywhere lol, but that doesn't mean you can't make the spot work if the "true CPC" is workable.
