But really, for such a relatively small amount, if I were you I would just cut my losses and move on. It may cost you more than that to get that money back by going through the legal system.
Do you have his physical address? Perhaps consult with your lawyer and have them send a letter to demand the money and threaten to sue. That probably won't cost much ($500-$1k here in Canada - don't know about DE). But to take him to court would likely cost you more than the 10k. (Disclaimer: I am not qualified to give legal advice. Sorry to hear about this bad experience. It sounds like you're a good guy and was trying to help this person. He may or may not be lying - maybe he spent all his money trying to get things to work and couldn't. You already got him fired - so he already got what he deserved. Your time may be better spent on developing your business. This isn't advice of course - it's what I would do personally.

Damn dude sorry to hear that, I hope you learned from it though to ALWAYS take pre-payment for traffic on FB accounts and cut the accounts or CC's when funds are exhausted.
I think legal action would be hard to proceed with given the circumstances. Unless you have a contract or something detailed in writing that was agreed upon then you may be out of luck. I suggest contacting a lawyer for a quick consultation regardless though, obviously depending on what it is worth to you. I'm glad he got fired, sounds like a jerk who was misusing his power as an affiliate manager. I've personally been scammed twice when buying/funding FB accounts in the past, you seem like an honest guy so I think I'll contact you for my FB acc needs in the future. Good luck to you.
