I asked my Question already on a Facebook Group but i had no luck and get no insights what happend. Maybe i have here more luck.
Is anyone facing the same problem that Taboola is sending A LOT of clicks from organisations/isp's that not able to render Images or render Javascript? In detail.
- Afrox MIS
- Agrihold
- Affiliated Computing Services (Pty) Ltd.
Every single traffic network sends certain % of fake/bot clicks, some are better at filtering it out, some don't care at all. According to some sources, the current internet traffic is actually bot-based in more than 50% of the cases, so no wonder it's happening. It all comes down to how high the % in case of a particular network is and how much it messes up the optimization of your campaigns.
May I ask how high the % of these clicks is in your case with taboola?
Hi Matuloo,
thanks for your answer, the problem is Taboola say there is no problem and no one has raised such problem. Unfortunately its across all sites some with more clicks and some with less clicks. but if I block these sites I block good performing one. But in general this are to much clicks to be ignored. They have now open a ticket to add the possibility to block certain ips but the bad traffic is flowing until they are done.
I hoped i can find other Taboola buyers which have the same problem so i know ok its not my fault, or I know ok my Account Manager dont want to talk about that.

Here you can see the hole July the number of requests and how much users are landed on the landingpage. I implemented Ipqualityscore. And this users are not able to load a simple trackingpixel via <img src... and not able to render js. I redirect now all users direct to the pixel and the fraud score is 100% The problem Starts on May.
