I suggest you start with blueprint which is free. That will get you 80% of the way there.

I'd second cmdeal's suggestion of the facebook blueprint course. Paying money to a guru "mentor" is a waste of time if you're not willing to put in the work to learn the basics yourself.
Take a look at running simple whitehat offers from giddyup and A4D. You're probably going to start off losing money - but you (hopefully) wont destroy your ad account or loose too much money in the process. Importantly though, you'd be learning new skills and save a lot vs a guru.
Focus your attention on
- campaign structure (from blueprint)
- creating unique creatives and headlines (get example from your AM of working campaigns and iterate off these)
- tracking with
- cash flow management
