ExoClick has introduced a brand new tool for advertisers & affiliates: Automatic Variations Optimisation. The tool allows automated control over the traffic sent to a campaign’s different variations.
Automatic Variations Optimisation is similar to ExoClick’s landing page optimisation tool and provides three different ways to distribute traffic to the variations:
Even: Spreads traffic evenly between the variations, so if an advertiser uses 4 different variations, 25% will be sent to each one.
Automatic CTR: This intelligent algorithm optimises traffic distribution based on conversion tracking results CTR and automatically sends the majority of the traffic to the variation that is performing the best, while the algorithm continuously tests the remaining traffic against the other variations or any new variation that is introduced.
Automatic on Conversion: This intelligent algorithm optimises traffic distribution based on one the advertiser’s preset Optimisation Goals which can be selected from a drop down menu, so the variation that performs the best according the the optimisation goal will receive the majority of the traffic, again testing the remaining traffic against the other variations or any new variation that is introduced.
The new tool works for all ad formats across mobile, tablet and desktop and with any type of creative: banners, video ad formats, popunders, push notifications and native when the CPM, Smart CPM and CPV bidding model is used.

Is this auto optimization feature on by default?
I just ran a campaign today and the variation distribution was all off and I dont want it like this.
Edit: To follow up it is "optimize by CTR" on default (really annoying). The option to change this is only available it seems on the new interface, so those using the old interface need to switch over.
So if you're using the old interface, you won't have any idea wtf is going on so you have to switch to the new one to change the setting.
