Megapush carrier targeting gone :(
seems they removed the carrier targeting, which killed all my mobile content camps running with them that require the targeting option
do you guys know if some other network has integration with them, where i can access their traffic and have the targeting option?
not sure if pushground has access to their traffic

Megapush just seems to continue going further and further downhill to be honest. I used to have a lot of success with them in March-April and then things started changing and now I struggle to get even the best campaigns profitable.

They change things quite often.
Me and my buddies also noticed that the quality went down lately, mostly after their UI update back in June.
You still can make money, but it's just harder, the traffic quality seems to be lower.
Also they had issues with blacklisting, some zones that you blacklisted still keep sending traffic, also it's quite horrible to use the "block list" once you have hundreds of placements, it takes like 30s-1minute just to paste the zones, the browser totally freezes in that time.
Otherwise I like MP, I had some good results there and I hope they will improve the quality again

I have the same impression. MP used to be really good. I had a lot of profitable campaigns there, but since end of June, the traffic quality went down and it's much harder to get to the green numbers now.
And their recent changes are not really helpful. I wish they focus more on improving of the traffic quality.
What I really miss, is the option to target traffic by age of subscription. All other major networks have already implemented this.

Yeha but you dont allow own push subscriber collection, and you gave out this notice with 1 day advance
"Please note: all Push Notifications campaigns focused on collecting subscribers on the target URL page (push subscription offers) do not comply with our policy anymore. The changes are taking effect August, 12. Please read more for details."
So no I dont think so

Yeah and you also changed your rules in July which rendered all my push campaigns "rejected" and when I finally found creatives/text that was finally approved, the CTR was about 75% lower.
And I receive thousands and thousands of spam clicks on my push campaigns from completely different GEOs to my targeting that don't appear in your system but destroy my stats and makes data analysis incredibly difficult. Granted I'm not charged for this spam data and it's a mystery where it's coming from but it only happens to me on propeller. Tech support has no idea where it's coming from either apparently.
Disappointing as I have run multiple $xx,xxx push campaigns with Propeller for months before these issues arose last month.

Damn, yeah it's super super strange. I even tried changing the links every day but after 5-10 minutes the spam would all come back at once. It's bizarre, never had something like that anywhere else. Mine happened on my french campaign. Safe to say I don't use propeller anymore.

Hey!
Did you contact Support on this issue? What's your id in PropellerAds?

Hello
Note that these are new rules for Push-campaigns only. You can continue collecting push-subscriptions with PopUnder-campaigns.

This is manager's reply, not Support's. What's your account in PropellerAds?

Hello, will send PM with ID. Support failed to identify issue. Claims, "[they] are still figuring it out".

This is a bit odd, but give us a try. We got carrier targeting and since we own the database we got a really good grasp of user ages and really happy to share it with our advertiser on what works, and of course, 50$ bonus on top of your first deposit

Some time ago I had a similar situation where I received lots of clicks from untargeted locations.
It was not on Propeller Ads but on another big Push source but these clicks also only appeared in my tracker and not on the traffic source.
Then I received a complaint email from my server hosting because of spam.
After some investigation and a phone call it came out that my campaign link was posted as guestbook spam and landed in a honeypot from the spam company.
When I talked to them I could clear everything and nothing more happened.
But maybe something like this could be the reason for your issue as well.

Yes I was thinking that, however I have changed my campaign links many times and the spam always starts coming in as little as 5 minutes after changing my link to a completely unique, unused, link

I heard recently there are some people trying to kill competition by sending lot of clicks to your tracking links, might be that?

Yeah I actually mentioned that to Propeller support initially and they didn't deny it was possible. It's starting to become the only obvious explanation. Interesting how quickly they can get my new campaign links though, literally after only a few thousand impressions on a new link. Bastards. It hasn't happened to me on any other source apart from Propeller (touch wood).

How should that kill competition?
You can send as many clicks to my tracking link as you want to.
When it´s not triggered from the trafficsource I don´t pay anything for it and it´s only annoying to mess up my stats.

For me it never happened on Propeller but once on another source so such stuff doesn´t seem to be connected to specific sources.

haven't had such issue with propeller so far... though had similar issue with megapush traffic when was getting a lot of traffic from untargeted geo, and all was coming from 1,2 IP addresses, was clearly bot traffic (which they actually charged for). Back when they had the IP targeting option, i could block it, but they removed the feature and added the carrier targeting option, and now thats gone as well. Don't get why instead of adding new features they keep removing them, kind of backwards development.
my issue with propeller this days is getting ads approved (megapush got crazy strict on this too) that are doing really good on other sources, like zeropark

Pushground has very robust set of targeting options including carrier targeting options and we have just added an IP targeting option! We also have a very rigorous bot detection system to avoid running into these kinds of problems.
We encourage you to try out our traffic!

It can pose several problems in case the volumes are really huge ... cost of tracking, problems with advertisers or affiliate networks for flooding them with "out of target" traffic, quality problems in case of sophisticated bots that can actually create fraudulent leads etc ... As long as you catch and block it, all is fine, but not all trackers are capable of blocking large amounts of IPs for example. It can become quite a pain.
