Before (truly) running campaigns with @zeropark, I'd like to get to know it better. I set up a DL pop campaign from Mobidea (ie a dummy campaign). My tracker is
My reason for this is I just wanted to look at what kind of traffic this might bring. Specifically, I just wanted to look at referrers and ips. I just wanted to see for myself.
A few of the referrer domains look like real sites, but the vast majority of referrer domains (each with many, many visits) look like someone got a-hold of a password generator and stuck a .com at the end of it. [Qu02KxJML.com, etc.]
Also, a look the IPs is interesting--some have more than 30 visits in 2 hours.
I'm new to all this, so clearly I'm missing something. And I do feel foolish for asking....Is

We can only give the URL's for sites when they are provided to us. Some of our sources choose to send us scrambled id's some of these can be bundled URL's coming though one target. We ask our sources not to do this but sometimes it comes through. There are a couple of solutions for this problem 1) Do a keyword campaign on pop targeting only the URL's you want traffic from. This means Zeropark will only bid on the URL's you choose so they will all have a referral URL. 2) Write to support@zeropark.com and ask for a list of sources which provide unscrambled referrals.
You can also ask support for a whitelist of sources via campaign vertical. This should help with getting your first conversions.
