TCPA Compliance

I saw a solar offer that I was interested on offervault, so I applied to the network (HomeSolarUS.com). This is the message I originally sent to them:

"I am relatively new to the affiliate marketing world but my business model is focused on lead generation and email list building on Facebook in whitehat verticals such as solar. I have a couple of solar offers on another network but would like to look at yours more closely and see how they perform."

In their response they asked me "What are you using for tcpa compliance?". I hadn't heard of this so I have looked into it a bit, but not really sure if this is applicable to me, and if it is, what answer they are looking for?

Any help is much appreciated.

As far as I understand, TCPA applies to telemarketing, so phone calls pretty much. Since you'd drive traffic from facebook and likely send it to their landing pages, I would say TCPA doesnt apply to you.

Or did you plan to engage in any telephone activity and collect leads for them that way?

No, I planned only on Facebook and Email (which I told them), hence why I was a bit confused when they asked about telemarketing compliance.

Gotcha, try to explain them the whole funnel that you plan to use, so they see you won't engage with any telemarketing activity. It's quite possible that your application was judged by someone who doesn't understand the AM concept fully, at least not the media buying part of it.
