Abnormally High Lander CTRs on Push?

Does anyone else ever get lander CTRs above 100% on push traffic with T2/T3 geos? I've seen this a multiple times now across a few different geos and I'm wondering if this is normal. I've double checked and I don't believe this is a technical issue on my end.

Well, it sure is a lot. People may be pressing the back button multiple times, but still get redirected to the offer.

I never thought of that, but now that I think about it I remember that happening to me before with a back button script. Maybe that's the reason!

Yup, such high CTR is usually the reason of some redirect script on the LP. Backbuttons are the most common reason, especially when setup in such a way that "chains" them, so every click on the backbutton opens the click url again. When I'm using a backbutton, I send these clicks to a different campaign, so it doesn't mess up the stats of the original one.

Another common reason for this is bot traffic, some bots "click" on the CTAs multiple times, or they are poorly coded and kinda "get lost" in the process and loop themselves up.

It's gonna be one of these 2 options for sure.

Interesting tip on sending the users to a different campaign, thanks for that and for your input!

Yup, this way it's not gonna mess with the original campaign. And it's not just about the stats itself. Once you send the backbutton traffic to the same campaign, the tracker will rotate it as it was the "direct" clicks, so it will totally mess up the offer/lp rotation.

Does your backbutton script redirect to the same lp+offer combination in the other campaign or does it send the backbutton traffic to the other campaign, regardless of lp+offer? @matuloo

I've used different setups for handling the backbutton traffic:

- directly to the original offer, or a different one
- to a different LP, CTA clicks to the same or different offer
- I also tried having one "fallback campaign" for all the campaigns I've been running in the same vertical
- sending it to a smartlink or a system like monetizer

Its really hard to say what approach had the best overall results, but I would say it was sending the clicks directly to the offer, surprisingly.

In all cases, the backbutton clicks are sent to a different campaign in the tracker, so it doesnt mess with the original campaign.

Thank you for the response, appreciate it.
