Hey guys, I'm new to the forum and have been trolling around, procrastinating and need to finally get my ass in gear and launch some campaigns.
My budget isn't great - around $500 to begin with...
Before joining the forum I purchased Gauher Chaudhry's Pay Per Click Formula 3 course - suprise suprise I haven't taken any action yet...
He swears by search traffic - the 2nd tier networks, bing and even to some extent adwords.
In the 40 day guide, it's telling me to choose facebook or PPV. there's no mention of search, and very little is mentioned about search advertising in this forum. I'd love to know if everyone here really thinks search is that bad - is it really not worth the time to build a nice structured silo site required to give you great quality scores.
For anyone that's actively using search (without cloaking) what offers are OK? can you get away with direct linking auto insurance zip sibmits? sweepstake offers?
Am i better off just forgetting about search for now and just launching some facebook campaigns?
any input greatly appreciated.
The thing is , you can make money almost everywhere if you do things right and test enough.
However certain sources are tougher than others.
After the latest restrictions , search is getting more difficult, especially with adwords holding most of the traffic.
That's why on the guide we suggest PPV / POF / FB for beginners.
Now I'm still a small fish, but from what I've heard from one of my AM's the big guys (pulling $xxx.xxx) are getting traffic from anywhere BUT google. Google have become really strict and averse to affiliates, while many other traffic sources have way less competition (but also less traffic) and are more open to just pretend that they are doing their part to prevent advertisers from running shadier stuff.
Ya search still works...its just the effort sometimes to make it stable and get it to work can make it tough.....google def doesn't like CPA stuff for the most part....if you avoid that and go for cps type stuff your better off...but still you need to make it look legit....and bring value to the user
FB is a great place to start as long as your running legit stuff!
