First Native Campaign - Any Potential? (3)

On a lot of native, especially on sources with good quality like Taboola, once you've got a good offer it largely comes down to your ad CTR and bids, or in other words your ad CPM.

So really just don't overcomplicate things. Make separate campaigns per device type, start bids high with low cap, adjust after cap, etc those are the basics.

Once you've run for a bit you'll get an eye for what CPMs you need to hit to drive volume for that particular vertical & geo combination. Don't get too attached to an offer, and try to test a few in the beginning first to see what's going to be easiest to make work before you start spending thousands on a campaign.

Start scaling things up when you're closing in on break-even, and see what breathing room you have with lowering bids at higher volume to flip it to profit by lowering things by a few cents at a time, etc

Thanks mate, appreciate it. I've started cutting some sites with 3-4x PO spent and 0 conversions. My ROI keeps going up each day so I think I should be able to get some profit eventually. Today it's sitting at -22% ROI. The annoying thing is I'm still waiting for my new creatives to be approved which I submitted on Monday which is crazy slow. It would help if I had a rep from Taboola. I'm used to push where my creatives/campaigns are approved pretty much instantly and I have good managers for all of the sources I use.

Good luck with the campaign, I come from facebook, mostly BH so this is interesting to me. I also started my first camp yesterday, on 100% -ve roi so far but I've only spent 20$. Please keep sharing your results
