How to cut ads when running CPC Push on ProplerAds?

If you create a campaign with several creatives the ProplerAds algo will optimize the campaign so the creative with best CTR will gets more, if not all, impressions and clicks. The result is that it will cut ads before we get enought data because we wont reach statistical sufficiency.

How do you do it?

Hello!
What exactly do you mean? If the creative can't collect enough clicks and spend to analyze it, you can increase the bid a bit or to stop it and add a new one.

Well, thats the nature of CPC bidding. The algos always push the ads with the highest CTRs, in order to make the most money for the network. The only way to get more impressions for a lower CTR banner than it received during the testing phase, is to increase the bid. Or you can submit it again to give it one more try, sometimes the CTRs improve in another test.

What about if I create a campaign with say 5 creatives and run them one by one for say 24 hours? I can enable the first one and pause the other 4, then pause the first, enable the second etc. This way I can see CTR and CR of each creative while keeping the bid the same (it is set per campaign). The other way is to create 5 campaign with one creative each. When I collect enought data I can let the best creative to run alone. I am not sure how thebProplerAds optimization algo will affect the perfomance of different creatives within one campaign.

Every new ad will get certain amount of impressions in order for the algo to determine the CTR, once that initial test is over, the algo will push the one with the highest CTR. So yes, if you pause them and run 1 by 1, they will likely get more impressions, since there won't be any other ad to run in that campaign and the algo will still try to give it some impressions. Just keep in mind that the rotation will be affected by the CTR so the quality may vary.

Based on my experience, the data will be more representative, when running 1 ad in 1 campaign.

But still, there will be some ups and downs for certain ads, based on what impressions it will be exposed to, so prepare for a wild ride. Thats the nature of push traffic
