Oh nice, this is quite a lot of of volume you have there, too bad none of it is adult
How picky are these providers actually? Is it a problem to get a standard affiliate campaign approved?
And what about the traffic distribution, how does it work? Do we get to submit a banner or are they sending the clicks through some pre-populated ads?

It should not be a problem to get standard affiliate camps up and running. Cats like nutra, gaming, dating can go, providing they are not too aggressive. Our Advertisers are successfully running trading/crypto camps with Liveintent. Bingo, lotteries, aggressive sweeps are prohibited thou.

As an Advertiser in DSP, you create a standard native campaign, submitting your offer(s), headlines, images according to network's creative requirements (headline length and main image min. size) then a real-time auction occurs in users' mailboxes, and once you as the Advertiser win the auction, your offer(s) is/are displayed; optimized to drive both engagement and ROI.

Ok so we get to create the ads personally, that's good. I'm asking because in adult for example, it's quite common to get the clicks via pre-populated default ads/textlinks, which gives us limited options to optimize stuff.
Thanks for the explanation.

Hey and Happy Friday,
Just two short updates from me here:
1. Liveintent: global CPM going down to $0.77, while performance is going up quite rapidly (forex/binary; ecom; business)*
2. Since we got thousands of questions about how email traffic actually works, my team prepared a nice visualisation:
*Scroll down to see the examples of performing images&headline you can run.

An example of a working headline:
A {city} Accountant Leaves Her Job After Watching This Video
Examples of creatives:

Also a tip from me: the recommended auto-optimization model for this type of traffic is CPV - remember to start with a worse goal, something like: 0.75-1.00 and adjust the goal, lowering it bit by bit, until you bring it to your ideal cost per vist.
Hope this helps.
Cheers,
Justyna

Guys,
for those of you who’re targeting Liveintent note that we just added in-app traffic to the mix. Just to name a few apps: Groupon, Trivia, People News Daily, Breaking News Alerts, Taste of Home, Daily Finds and more!
Hence my tip: if you optimize using Site Content Categories, avoid pausing the “Not-Categorized” one.
Why?
Because all in-app traffic accounts for the “Not-Categorized” in your Voluum Report with Site Categories. Also remember that the feature works only for sites with English-language content (Non-English traffic will be under “Not-categorized”). If there are only a few words on a site or the words occur in the images - the site will not be categorized. Again this means that such traffic will be under “Not-categorized”.
Final thought
I also recommend that you split your campaigns between: in-app and web just in case you like to optimize with Site Content Cats.
Hope this makes sense!
Thanks,
Justyna

@justyna dsp Voluum Is this something like solo ads? And is it possible to sell one's list here? I had a related query and @matuloo talked about liveintent that you have mentioned here along with powerinbox.

Hey,
No, this is a native widget in user's email. Before your ad is served, a user needs to sign up to one of Liveintent publisher's email newsletters, for example from a certain site or app, and then a user needs to log into his email provider. So in this case, there are no wasted impressions cuz your ad is only served when the user actually opens the email.

I still don't have complete clarity. But should be fine after a bit of further research. Thank you!
