Anyone had any success with eCommerce & Push?

Hey guys,

I wanted to see if anyone had any sucess with ecom & push and don't mind giving some advice.

We have this product we are trying to build-up in Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07G7F9DSR

I setup a traffic -> lander -> email -> redirect to offer to this lander: https://8rxbt.amzpromoter.com/d3-6hhy69fvk

And setup US Push notifications from PropellorAds & currently testing MobIdeaPush

My creatives getting some clicks, so looks like some people might be intersted in the offer, but so far not even one email submission. Basically no conversions, so i can't even try to see what i can optimize :-(
For propeller i tested with around $100, Got 326 visits to the page & got only 2 emails & 1 sale.

Do you guys think the discount is too low? Or maybe the email collection is blocking people from buying?

Would love to hear some suggestions on how to crack it

Thanks
Yossi

Oh, you have received a VERY low amount of clicks. Just keep running your ads and wait until you have more data. Also, your item's cost is quite high so you will need to spend a bit more to understand what's going on.

Yeah, I thought so too, but seems like Push in the US is quite expensive. Propeller ate $100 and sent only 326 visits

After discount, shipping & amazon fees we actually losing on this item.
But I think ill take your suggestion and test 3 more landers, 70% off, 80% off, 90% off

Gonna take some loss on it at the beginning and hopefully it will later pick up on Amazon.

What do you think about the CTR, are these normal-looking stats? Any suggestions for the creative?

Don't forget that with every iteration you add (extra lp or offer) the more you need to test.
Also, email collecting also reduces the conversions rates a bit because some people who don't want to enter their email, they don't see the offer.

Ideally, I'd set up a little eshop on Shopify or Wordpress + Woocommerce and create a landing page there. That way you won't lose any fees + you will get the email anway.

I'm not much into ecomm myself, but from what I know about push traffic, it's probably not the best option for ecomm. UNLESS you offer a product that everybody wants to buy. The thing is, there is basically no targeting possible with push, when it comes to the demographics or interests of users. Not sure how much of a broad appeal product your corona coolers are.

You can definitely get lots of clicks, some people simply click on anything, but the conversions will be harder to get. You would need a very good and aggressive angle to sell this to push users. The people need to believe they are getting an exceptional deal... so maybe those aggressive discounts could help. I mean, I've seen people pushing tangible products on push, but not on a massive scale... so it might work when the funnel is right.

There is also a lot that you can experiment with in regards to the landing page. As diplomat mentioned, you might want to focus more on the direct sale, without collecting the email, it's true that many people might get turned away by the email collection step. Try to show them the discount coupon code right after clicking the CTA, for example and give them the additional option of emailing it to them so they "dont forget about it".

You could also setup similar discount pages for multiple products and list them at the bottom of the current LP, maybe people would be interested in some other products...

There is a lot you can test here

I like that idea, and i'll also test without collecting the email either. The main reason i am pushing them to Amazon is really to build the product keyword ranking and reviews, after that, organic sales will follow.

Facebook is the place right now for ecom but since i am learning all this traffic buying, i decided to test some additional traffic sources like push & pops

Thanks for all the advice guys! Ill keep you updated on what i did and the results

Yup, definitely test it as you never really know for sure unless you give it a proper try. On top of it, push or pops is very cheap traffic type and networks are quite forgiving when it comes to breaking certain rules. So it's the best playground for learning the basics of AM or when you need to test something out of the ordinary
