I am a newbie to affiliate marketing but have researched the topic for a few weeks and came up with the following strategy:
- Generate new email leads through Opt-Intelligence Co-Reg network at around 0.45$ per lead
- Right after the new lead is sent to my ESP I promote the offer which I havde advertized on the Co-Reg network via Email
- Sent around 3 - 6 follow-up emails on the initial offer
- After that I promote related offers
- Offers:
I focus on Lead Gen offers with a mass appealing make / get / safe money angle with a payout of at least 20$
( make money like get education - get a better job - make more money )
So on the front-end I need a conversion rate of around 2% to break-even ( I think that is doable since no CC is needed and the lead
basically opted in to get the informaton about my Lead Gen offer )
( even thogh I don`t need to break-even on the front-end )
- Make money on the backend always promoting lead gen offers with a make / get / safe money angle
- verticals:
I would begin with education and later on expand to:
Insurance, loans, debt, credit, mortgage, assistance, discount offers, homeowner offers
What do you think about my strategy?
Is that viable or should I better go another route....

I think that's a great strategy overall and you're already thinking way beyond most newbies in getting the most ROI of your traffic.
However it's quite a lot to tackle. What's your background? Any media buying experience? And are you working alone on this?

I know it`s quite a bit to tackle but I am confident to master it anyway.
I am 45 years old and have already kind of reitred from my work as a pro stock market trader.
I am still trading US stocks, making regular profits but I`m kind of bored since I only "work" half an hour per day.
In addition to that I like to master a new challenge.
I am very good with computers and a fast learner and have the funds to scale.
I have no media buying background; therefore I decided for co-reg as a traffic source sind the co-reg network
- as far as I understand - does the heavy lifting in placing my ad at the right spot.
I have read "Scientific Advertizing" and I am sure I can wirte compelling email copy and set up an converting ad.
After all I am just offering to my leads to help them get / make / safe money on a topic which they showed interest for;
they don`t have to purchase anything...
Despite of that I have so often experienced that there`s a big gap between theory and practice so that I am very thankful if a pro affiliate marketer things it can work. Very much appreciate input.

I'm not too familiar with the ins and outs of co-reg but it sounds like a great place to start if they're providing quality leads for $0.45
It's just going to be a lot of work setting up everything at first with landers, coding, tracking, ESP etc
So I'd suggest trying to get a minimum viable funnel up and going first with just the absolute basics in place, so you can go live asap, then worry about iterating and adding complexity.
