need help with a major problem on TJ and exoclick !!

Hello there all,

i was using TJ for banner campaigns i was running, i was getting a decent 20% ROI after collection data and optimising the campaign and when i thought i am going to scale it, TJ suspended my account, and they won't tell the reason behind it, they just keep on saying "due to security protocols, we are unable to provide any additional details at this time".

i would have gone big with that, maybe i would have bought spot that was working for me but idk why they did that @matuloo can you help me understand this if it ever happened with you?

then i decided to do exoclick, my banners and landers were not aggressive, they were normal, so i made a campaign on exoclick with everything similar to what i was doing on TJ. my ad got rejected and it said " your ad has been rejected, and we will need to variefy your account, we will contact you within 24 hrs" , it was 4-5 hours ago.
i knew that exoclick has some strict regualtions, so i first spied by going into zone targeting->include zones, visited a number of sites - saw what type of banner and landers are being used then i made the campaign.

what might be the possible reason for all of this?
please help.

thanks.

Where do you come from?

Sometimes networks are little bit more careful by users from specific countries.

Yup, looks like a country of origin problem, there are certain GEOs that are more known for fraud, so these networks are more careful with registrations from these regions... sucks I know, but it does happen. Where are you from?

What could work would be to submit references from other networks you are working with, to prove that you are in this biz for real and are spending money on other networks too.
Another option is to visit an affiliate conference and talk to them in person. As long as they see you are a real affiliate, they might let you in.
Or maybe you have a friend who works with these networks and could vouch for you?

thanks for the suggestions, i would definitely do these things before i join a network from now on.
but it sucks being treated this way without even verifying me, and based on what "GEO"? awful

Yes it sucks and it's not fair, but that's the way it is. I was facing exactly the same problem when I was starting in affiliate marketing like 20 years ago... my country was on the list that nobody wanted to take affiliates from. But eventually, I managed to get accepted into some of them and as long as I ha the references to provide, it all became MUCH easier and nobody refused to work with me ever since.

thanks a ton for your reply
should i ask my AM at affiliate networks for reference?
can you or any one at STM help me on this by giving reference, i can do anything you guys ask to prove that i am a legit affiliate, that would be really helpful.
i wanna get to the being a super affiliate one day , maybe STMers can help me in taking the first leap.

thanks

As you can see Trafficjunky and Exolclick already ban me for no reason so what viable option I'm left with for traffic source. I'm not sure I like traffic factory either.

Yes, this could help.

I'm not sure I like traffic factory either.
TF is a solid network, definitely try them and once you spend something there, you can use it as another reference. There is also another TF... Traffic Force, solid traffic again.

can you or any one at STM help me on this by giving reference, i can do anything you guys ask to prove that i am a legit affiliate, that would be really helpful.
This is a problem, since I don't personally know you, so my reference would carry no weight

You can also try TrafficStars, Adnium, Juicy Ads, Clickadilla etc.

Those are all fine places to start, and then maybe from there you can get a reference.

Find Networks with Traffic here or in the relevant FB groups. Approach the manager without any "Hello Sir" - we work with some guys from India, Pakistan, Dom Rep and we even had a legit Crypto pub from Nigeria :-D
Its all no problem but most guys from this country are not serious. They write you Hello I want account, hello Sir. I am not even reacting. But if somebody writes me: Hello Stefan found you on STM or so, wanna give it a shot
with Brokerbabe/Glize and then I have traffic from this sources and I need that offers. Well this guys are very welcome at any time :-) Maybe you can even mention: I am from India and I would like to jump with you on a video call
to discuss what I am planing. That would impress me for example. Good luck with your efforts.

Hey Aarushk,
I am from Indian as well and I tried TrafficJunky before. TrafficFactory is hard to get attention in the beginning, I got into TF after 5 days of contacting them. Just submit your application and contact them vi email and Skype. ll the AMs are good and you can contact TF AM who is also an Indian. His name is Yatin Anand, as Rajiv said you can contact him bro.

This might be a little late, but I'm going to share with you my experience with TrafficJunky and maybe it might help you.

So I was using TrafficJunky and one day I tried to put $100 of funds in my account, and the transaction got declined on TrafficJunky's end, but my card was charged. So I messaged their support and he told me that my bank declined the transaction and to wait a few days and maybe the money will get refunded to which I asked "if I could chargeback" and there must of been a mistake because of maybe the language barrier on their part, but he said "if I can't wait then I can do so". So I took that as a thumbs up to charge back and the next day, I tried to put in more money, and nothing happened. I got logged out and when I tried to log back in, it said that my account was suspended because of suspicious activity.

This resulted in me emailing their actual support back in forth as their technical support team does not have an actual phone number. I even contacted my bank three times and they said "that there should be no reason why the transaction wouldn't have gone through as there is no ban on TrafficJunky on my bank's end". I also called them about 5 times and messaged their live support a few more times.

This whole process took like 2 weeks until finally I was able to speak to their "security team". They basically told me because I chargebacked, TrafficJunky deemed me as "shady" and my account was therefore suspended. Basically when your account is suspended, you can't get it back. Also, you can't create another account, they will know. I created another account after my first account got suspended only to get the second account suspended too immediately after adding funds.

Eventually, I was able to keep badgering them and I even told them what happened (which was when I spoke to the representative of their live chat, and he told me I can chargeback) I even told them his name and everything. I also got my money back, the ones that I added in. So they checked back with the records of the chat and later they told me there must of been a communication error and that I was in the clear. So they asked which account I wanted to get back and then I was able to get my account back.

So that's how I got my suspended account back even though technically I didn't do anything "suspicious". They just have a no tolerance policy for chargebacks as I'm sure many companies have too. Make sure you keep badgering them and calling them. Also, send them multiple email messages. For some reason, I was getting a "mail error" when I sent them an email through my gmail, so I used a yahoo email which worked.

Btw all Exoclick accounts go under verification when you submit your first campaign. Im from the USA and have been with them for years but have gone under at least 5+ verifications in my lifetime of using them.

You might not know this, but chargebacks can do severe damage to a company that relies on credit card processing. In som cases, as low as 1% chargebacks or disputes is enough to lose an account with a billing company. That is one dispute in 100 charges. And the amount of the chargeback doesn't matter either, you can process hundreds of thousands and a few smaller disputed transaction CAN mean a serious problem.

This is the reason why they treat chargebacks so strictly.

On top of that, making chargebacks has negative effect on your CC history, which may result in your inability to pay for services in the future. Due to the strict policies, some processors offer tools that asses possible chargeback risks based on past history and many companies decide not to accept payments from clients with chargeback history. I'm not saying this one CB is gonna create a lot of problems for you, just wanted to let you know so you treat this option with caution.

Yeah, I totally understand. Since I started with e-commerce and used stripe as a payment processor, I was aware of the rules of chargebacks. I remember having less than a 1% chargeback percentage and stripe still decided to put my account on hold. On top of that, I even sent evidence to stripe about all the information regarding the customer's tracking link and purchase confirmation yet I still lost the case. Some companies side with the customers, while other companies side with other businesses. I believe banks always side with customers which is why sometimes it is hard to fight the customers even if you are right. That being said. Chargebacks are quite inevitable as no matter what, some people will just do it. In my case, I thought that the chargingback was the only way I would get my $100 back and with the green light from the support, I went through with it. If I didn't chargeback, I am not sure how I would have gotten my money back as TrafficJunky definitely was not going to give it back to me.

Not blaming you at all, just wanted to mention it as I'm sure large part of the users have no idea how much of a hassle chargebacks can be from the business side of things.

I had no idea when I first started online, until I got involved with billing customers directly, that kinda opened my eyes
