Popads Campaign Still Pending (17)

Hi Amy

I followed the steps to start my first campaign on popads but it's still pending approval. How long should I wait before contacting them?

Took 12 hours for mine to get approved. And I already had the account and had run about 3 campaigns previously. It’s slow. Hang in there.

I'm going to see if I could find another source that can provide adequate stats without going through a tracker.

Propeller Ads.

They have lots of voulme and have a postback.

And approval times are very fast

Haha that's the first one I'm trying - setting up camps now!

Not many other sources have conversion postback - which makes PropellerAds the next logical option.

Zeropark does as well - but because they're getting traffic from so many sources, the quality is typically not as good as popads/propellerads - and quality is already an issue when running with popads.

Nice! Just logged into both accounts to verify this. Never noticed they had conversion postback because I've always been paranoid about sharing conversion info (exception: CPA camps).

yeah mine took about half a day approval. but all good - am learning and have profited this is fun!

It might just be a busy period over at PopAds. When I setup my first campaign on PopAds following the 40-day guide, approval took no longer than an hour. Last night I set up my campaign on PopAds following this guide and 6 hours later, am still waiting for the approval to come through.

That seems quite excessive yes. But then I don't really remember how long it usually took for campaign approvals - I've been on VIP for several years now, where camps are auto-approved immediately.

There's not much we can do but wait. In the meantime, there are lots of other things we can do.

For example do more research and learning. Read more forum posts and industry blogs. Browse spy tools. Sign up to more aff networks to see what kinds of interesting offers they have. Etc. Etc.

Hi blicktor. I suggest you duplicate your approved campaign several times so when it's time for you to do optimization on a new camp you won't have to wait that long.

That's REALLY brilliant!

You can't usually do that with individual offers because once you change the campaign url, the campaign will go back into moderation and will require another review and approval. But for running smartlinks without a tracker, yours is a beautiful solution.
