Commision Junction, are they solid still?
Hellloooow everyone!
Because of a CJ exclusive campaign I was forced to create a publisher account at Commision Junction. I can't remember them being relevant for my core business so I don't have any experience with them at all. I know they are in the game for quite a while and they had/have big brands in their portfolio.
So after explaining a bit how I make my money online I got approved and started running that particular campaign. One day I was checking the stats and a message in my dashboard popped up;

Unfortunately there was no warning send to my e-mail or anything like that. So stopped the campaigs on FB, asked why and they had an explanation which I thought was plausible. They asked me to phone them to reactivate my account which I eventually could arrange via e-mail. Why the f*** should I call them, we are in 2019 and we are doing online business lol.
So account active, camps running again and I went on a short vacay. Since I knew I had not much access to my laptop during the time off I set budget not so high. Coming back after a week I wanted to check my stats but AGAIN I got the same message, without a single frikkin' warning. How many sales did I miss? How many days was my account down? If account down tracking still works?
This seems a classical case of a big player from the past still doing business like they did in the past..... ancient, messy and shitty policies. Can anyone make my day a bit better, any feedback/additions/information is welcome.....
PS: you might think mister BH did some dirty stuff and account gets de-activated, naah that ain't the case at all I can tell you!
Cheers!

I used them many years ago and made some good money there.
Then suddenly my account also was closed.
Few years later I tried to sign up for a new account.
First it got approved, then the new account got closed as well.
Didn't try it again since then.

Did they gave you a solid reason for closing the accounts?

Can't speak to what CJ are doing in this
specificcase, but as far as a phone call - Networks are continuing to strive towards better ways to properly vet and approve publishers all the time - with so much fraud and 'fake identities' for publishers, it's a huge headache for networks in many cases. With CJ being based in the good ol' US of A, they'll be doing even more due dilligence to make sure people are who they say they are and doing what they are saying they're doing.

I don't mind being picky and research traffic/publishers thoroughly ofcourse! But send me a notification when de-activating my account or such. It's not the money ofcourse, just the hassle of setting up camps, stop them, activate them again and now stop them again.... not good at all IMHO.

Did you generate any revenue?

Nope, since I just started and it's a high CPA offer. So yeah I gave it some "decent" budget but I am not sure if I missed anything because of the account de-activation. Do my links still work/track? If no, for how long was I offline?

Agreed - should always be sending notification and/or someone should be reaching out. No real excuse for a lack of communication here.
