Increase daily budget on good adset
We have an adset with x10 cpa daily budget and it works quite well so we want to double the daily budget.
Increase the budget 5-10% daily? or duplicate and make an aggressive increase?

I hate the 5-10% budget bump method everyone talks about. Its literally the slowest scale tactic ever!
What I would suggest is you dupe it and keep doubling the budget every 5 hours. Usually after a budget bump I notice the hourly stats. The first 2 hours after the bump will usually show you a hike in CPC and CPA but if its back to being stable in the 3rd and 4th hour, you can bump it again.
$500 --> 1000 --> 2000 --> 4000 and then when your ad account resets, drop it back to 500 and see how it goes and repeat the process.
-----
Another scale tactic, would be noticing when you are getting the most amount of sales / conversions and go crazy scale in that particular hour. If you are getting most sales from 10PM to 1AM, I would literally just maybe 5x the budget, keep a close eye on the CPA and drop it back down.
You will have to do this manually for the first few times and after that you can maybe use revealbot or any other automation tool to handle it for you.
P.S. I usually do this on my main profitable adset because many a times duped adsets don't perform as well. But in this case you might wanna test this theory out on a dupe adset first and then if your gut allows, do it on the main adset.

Thanks for the detailed answer!
1.Why you'd do it every 5 hours? won't you want to let it run for at least 24 hours to show results?
2.When you dupe, you also pause the old one? so won't get overlap (I guess you won't run 5 adsets with $0.5K, $1K, $2K, $4K, $8K - at the same time)
3.What do you mean by "
when your ad account resets"?

Well you can wait but I like to make more money whenever I can haha. So if it starts showing stable CPA from the 3rd hour of the budget bump I usually bump it again. If the CPA starts rising after the budget bump I drop it back to the previous budget point.
2) Yes depends on the budget you are running at and the audience size. Assuming the audience is around 4-8M, yes I would probably just pause adsets to avoid overlap. But make sure the new adset is actually being profitable before you turn off the first one.
3) Like when its a new day for the ad account. Whatever timezone your ad account is in and when it starts a new day.

So if we have a $200/day adset, we'll dupe and double to $400, then dupe and double to $800 (if all goes well with the $400 one).
Now we'll wait for the account to reset and if the $800 won't convert we'll drop (pause the $800) the dupe's with negative ROI?

Yes, so when your account resets to the next day, you will see if starts profitable or at your desired CPA right away, if not you drop it back down to $400.
If it stayed profitable at $800 the previous day, the chances are very low that it would go crazy the next day.
I have seen that some adsets hit such a perfect audience block that no matter how fast you scale it, the CPC and CPA doesn't go higher. Those are like the dream scale ones.

So if you're scaling 200% every 5 hours it means that you'll exhaust 4M audience in less than a week, right? (it's not bad, I just wonder about it...)

You would exhaust the creative, yes. Audience doesn't get exhausted that easily. You just then need a new angle, new creative to sell the same thing again.
