Zeropark + Gotzha Start From Scratch
P.S. Posted this in the follow along section as well, but I think that was not the correct place for this. In any case I apologise for posting this the second time. Ofc, mods can feel free to delete whichever one is in the wrong section here.
Hey guys,
I recently decided to start on Push traffic using my own funds (Was tired of the agency model). I know how to work around fb ads but wanted to start small with my own funds here.
--------
I read a lot of blogs and consulted my previous partners and was recommended Gotzha for the best sweep offers, so decided to go with that. The AM at Gotzha is really helpful, and suggested that I should try zeropark, adseterra and megapush.
So here I am testing zeropark for starters for German Geo.
I have the landers ready and uploaded to my server
Used adplexity push (the free version) to find some ads related to the offer
Zeropark and RedTrack integration is done (S2S Postback)
Gotzha and Redtrack integration is done as well
I forgot that STM has a follow along section so its 2 days already since I started my campaign and here are the results so far.
2 campaigns - 7 creatives each - bidding 0.07 (a few cents higher than the suggested so I can get a surge of traffic right away)
Day 1:
--------------
Campaign #1 :
Spend: $29.67
Revenue: $3.02
Campaign #2 :
Spend: $35.63
Revenue: $6.04
--------------
Both of them have 7 creatives. (Same icon different headlines)
The biggest mistake I did on day 1, I first started with Campaign #1 - where I was testing my own untested creatives instead of following what the spy tool suggested. I let the second campaign run for another day because it had more conversions so I was hoping it can have more data the next day for me to learn something good.
--------------
Day 2:
Spend: $34.30
Revenue: $12.08
--------------
Day 3:
Spend: $45.80
Revenue: $21.08
--------------
Still not positive.
I am confused on what my next steps should be here?
I killed 3 of my creatives that didn't get any conversions in the last 3 days and turned off a few targets. Would love to know what should be my next focus be on this and how I can grow this better?
Any advice helps.
Thanks a lot in advance.

Split test other campaigns/networks!
And try other geo’s too, Germany is a difficult one sometimes!

Interesting! Thanks.
When you say other campaigns, you mean I should try few more landers / creatives combination?

Sign up at the other networks, find similar campaigns/offers from other advertisers, perhaps they convert way better! I can't say anything about your ad/lander since I don't know how much clicks you send from zeropark -> lander & from lander -> campaign....

Hi anshdeb,
Don't be easily discouraged by the first results, the beginning is always tough but you're on the right track and I think the one thing that we lack is a little more optimization.
Also, I don't know if you've contacted our support for recommendations but I can guarantee it's worth a try. It would be important for us to look at your setup, creatives and how you optimized your campaign so far, then you can expect some good tips directly from our guys. If you pass to us information about conversions, then we'll be able to quickly define the optimization strategy for you.
Just hit us up on support@zeropark.com or send me a message via PM here.
Best,
Sasha - Zeropark

It looks like you are pretty far off from reaching Positive ROI, Have you tried going deeper into optimizations? Specific user ages might perform better then other. Pretty sure Zero can give you this info. And go into Specific Sub id's, might be that you can perform much better with more specifics. You got some conversion, ride that wave

Thanks a lot for your suggestion. Will give it a go.

UPDATE:
Just started a target campaign with 10 of the most profitable targets I had from the previous RON campaign.
Also selected the 3 best performing creatives + used day parting to force spend in the most profitable hours of the day.
And I just hit the green
Spent: $24.51
Revenue: $27.18
Profit: $2.67
I would prefer calling it "breakeven" but its still a positive sign, so going to bump the budget on this and see how it goes next.

Any suggestion to keep it that way? Haha. I mean The total spend for today was around $30 and the revenue came out to be $29.xx which is good but do you think I need to keep this going or should I try more creatives at RON to make it profitable there as well.
Any suggestion helps
Thanks

You need to start cutting some targets and if any source looks bad then cut it as well.

Rotate in some more creatives similar to winning style see if you can squeeze more ROI, and like @
diplomat said see if there is anything else you can cut eating up spend.
Can you raise daily budget too or thats all thats possible across those placements? And this is still just the 1 offer you tried, split testing some other networks offers in might be good idea too. Also job getting breakeven so fast in DE you're off to a good start, like stickup said its a tougher geo lol

Thanks a lot for the feedback. I didn't know de was a tough geo to crack haha. I am used to working with us on fb so thought tier1 would be easier.
Yeah going to try propeller ads as well next because someone suggested i should look into what traffic source the ad was running in at the spy tool. So thats my next move.
And yes will also introduce new creatives and see how it goes.
Do you think i should also try running direct traffic maybe? I mean my lp is getting approx 25-28% ctr but since i found a good target list i am thinking maybe i should give a try to send traffic directly to the offer.
Thanks again

This is a sign you can really scale up. You got this performing zones, open a new campaign just for them, blacklist them from the main campaign and see what happens if you try and buy only the performing ones.
That for instance could really bump you ROI to a positive one.

It's quite rare to make these offers work directlinked. Their optin/signup pages are mostly pretty dull with no real pre-selling done on the page. That's what we (affiliates) have to do on our LPs. You can try that of course, but I'm like 95% confident it wont work.

Thanks for the suggestion. When you say "performing zones" do you mean the targets and sources that I see on ZP? Sorry not well acquainted with the terms yet haha. I am already running target campaigns right now btw.

Makes sense. Yeah the landing page is pretty boring in this case as well. Going to stick with a LP then. Thanks!

It's always the best to test it yourself anyways and not rely on what someone else says. Otherwise it's gonna keep bugging you from the back of your brain, you know that "what if" whisper

But yeah, pretty much everyone would confirm LPs work better than directlinked, especially with formats where not much preselling can be done with the creative.

Performing zones means the zones that you see that are bringing the most conversions. This means you need to take a look at user ages, meaning the day the user pressed allow and opted in to receive push notifications.
