Albert's Journey with Push traffic

Hi guys, this thread will be mainly used for documentation/logging and asking questions to the bigger affiliates in this community .
I would have posted this thread on the 40 day challenge follow along but I want to go at my own pace and focus on fundamentals and not stress on a time constraint.
This is my second month on this forum and I have probably viewed triple digits threads in no particular order and have consumed an insane amount of information so I believe I am ready to take action and start testing!

So far I have completed:

Tomorrow I'm going to try to successfully rip and clean around 3-5 landing pages from Adplexity and also wrap my head around the Voluum tracking interface, as I am not completely understanding a few concepts/intricacies

Assuming I achieve that, I will most likely open up my very first campaign on my traffic source...

I'm going to bed on this progress guys, I will update further daily

This type of feedback is so valuable to me, you can't imagine - don't ever feel intimidated by the fact that you are just starting out and use this thread to share your doubts about our platform. It might be that there are more newbies experiencing the same thing, so I want to address them for you, and for them, and improve our in-panel onboarding flow.

I'm subscribing to this and keeping my fingers crossed for you

Alright what a day! I was late on an update because I was having still having issues wrapping my head around tracking in general but a quick shout out to Voluum for answering my questions very concisely and clearly. The main reason I wasn't able to understand tracking was because I had no idea technology had come this far...

Things like:

Not to mention their documentation guide is very easy to follow, step by step containing screenshots.

Also after successfully ripping + cleaning the landing pages, I noticed many errors and elements on the pages that could be improved. I'm not sure if its the Generation Z in me (I'm 21) or my mild OCD but I wouldn't allow myself to upload and start a campaign on landing pages that I believe any decent human bean wouldn't fall for.

So I spent a good 4-6 hours innovating on 3 landing pages
To be specific, I worked on:

I did this until I felt content with the landers

I will post here again when I start getting data from my campaign

Likewise to both the former and latter points!

I will try not to, and thank you for the help so far!

Do you want it to work this way or would you rather redirect random people visiting your landing page (coming from search engines or who get your landing page URL because someone else shares it etc.) to an offer as well?
It's doable - we call it organic tracking. It works like this: you create a separate campaign in Voluum (let's say 'organic_campaign') and put a tracking pixel (Voluum DTP - direct tracking pixel) in your landing page's code, so every visitor that doesn't come from any of your campaign URLs is treated as if he came from this 'organic_campaign' and is redirected to the right offer from 'organic_campaign'.
Let me know if it's something you want to know more about, I'll be happy to explain the concept.

Other than that, great progress! Seems like you're really organized and have a solid action plan - this way you're one step ahead from many others starting out

I see, currently it's not something I'm looking for and I'd prefer it the current original way but thanks for the heads up, I can see myself needing it in the future
So far I am only running 1 offer + 3 landers + 3 creatives, however I decided to cut 1 lander as it seemed to be very lack luster compared to the other 2. Apart from this I have not done any optimisation on my campaign. I also had a maximum daily impression curve ball thrown at me by Propeller Ads (My daily budget + cpc was too low) so I upped them to the optimum CPC this morning.

This is 1 and a 1/2 days worth of data for my Campaign
Fun fact: I got my first conversion the minute I was about to screenshot my dashboard on Voluum LOL (literally as I'm typing this)

The first picture is the creatives data for just today (excluding yesterday as I had to duplicate my campaign to fix daily maximum impression)

All 3 of my creatives seems to be doing similar numbers in terms of CTR

I am getting 20% CTR on my CTA button on the first lander, and 72% on my second lander. Are these numbers for CC submits decent?

I'm starting to think my eye for predicting which lander will do the best is bias, as I was very confident the first lander would outperform the second. Is it too early to put all my traffic on the second now? As of this moment I've spent $30 USD on Propeller Ads

I'm trying to figure out how to optimize efficiently, I have seen many threads where you are supposed to aggressively optimize, but I need to figure out precisely what steps and measures I need to take...

Let me know your thoughts guys

Updated Data for today:

Awesome thread @albert . was wondering where you found the info on how you did this step.

I too, use server pilot and digital ocean and found an awesome thread by @affiliatecase on how to do this but i couldnt find any info on how to complete cloudflare CDN in terms of applying the proper rules to set in cloudflare to make it run optimally with Serverpilot and digital ocean. Did you change an of the Cloudflare settings such as a custom page rule to "Cache Everything"

Hey Albert!

What a nice follow along!

Let me address your questions:

I am getting 20% CTR on my CTA button on the first lander, and 72% on my second lander. Are these numbers for CC submits decent?
Yes CTRs are pretty standard.
I assume the second lander has a back button script or it has somehow shorter funnel, so the CTR is much higher.
But 20% looks healthy to me, it can depend from geo to geo, some Tier 1 geos tend to click less, some more..

Is it too early to put all my traffic on the second now?
I would still wait longer, you got only 1 conversion there. Imagine if another 1 will come shortly on the second lander.. I would spend at least the 1x payout on that lander and see if it can bring something more.
If note you can cut it, but I would immediately replace it with another LP alternative.

Also may I ask what user activity you run with this campaign?

Keep it going!

Congrats on getting started on this Albert I also stepped in on push recently, so excited to see how this works out for you and learn more along the way.

Sure, I can walk you through setting it up, provide screenshots and all. But there's a lot to show so maybe it's best to take it elsewhere - start a separate thread dedicated to it, what do you think? Since it's albert's FA and he's not interested in this option for now.

Let me know where do you want me to continue this (if here - just comment, if elsewhere - start a thread and I'll reply) and I'll explain everything.
