How to create invoices for a UK company when doing blackhat????
Hi guys,
I am really stuck.
I just got my UK structure and company up.
How do I produce invoices when I am doing Blackhat???
I have a UK company and need to show invoices.........but when spending money on Gads on BH, I do not have the ability to pull invoices on my company name as the accounts are not on my company's name?
How can I do this? Really stuck here and any solutions or ideas are really really really welcomed.

I'm not from the UK but this is something I've wondered about blackhat also. If you're using say FB ads on accounts you've purchased how do you deduct the ad spend cost? I mean its obvious you just write it off... but if the tax authorities come knocking how do you explain this when these accounts aren't in your/your company name?

just pull the invoices, make a note on them - paid company credit card or whatever .. and get accountant to file them. If you’re ever queried you need to explain the nature of running advertising on search and social media - IE even running legit adverts you can get account closure if users submit complaints about your advert. Likelihood of getting a tax or vat inspection are pretty low tbh. Unless your payments begin to fluctuate a lot then you might get a vat one - raises a flag

I wouldn't be so sure mate. For payments within EU, companies have to use VAT IDs. This way they do not have to pay the VAT as per the EU regulation that addresses this. At the end of the VAT taxation period ( 1 or 3 months), the companies have to submit VAT reports, and the authorities can make a cross check, to see whether the IDs and invoices match on both sides. In case of "bogus" info, this obviously won't be the case. I would definitely consult a tax adviser before doing this. VAT is a bitch and EU authorities love to harass people because of it.

lol I know that, I’m from the uk and have had two vat inspections during two decades of being in business. As long as you can explain where the payment was going and why you’ll be fine with inspection- but definitely anyone unsure should get advice from an accountant not heresay on a forum ;-)

This central VAT register is a new thing, it's been in operation for 1 or 2 years, I believe. So maybe your inspections took place before it was introduced? Or the UK authorities are less strict, if I did this in Slovakia, those fuckers would fry me alive

It works exactly as matuloo said, I got hit with a VAT inspection about 1.5 years ago, it was not fun.
On Facebook AFTER the acc gets banned you can change the billing information and download real invoices with your VAT ID on them, but on adwords it sadly isn't the case.

Main issue is it is blackhat, and very hard to even show the relation of my company to the CC's I am using on the actual receipts. Very problematic in my opinion to a tax authority.

you could try using virtual employee cards in your business name.. I’ve done that in the past. I used Soldo.com .. then you can show the statement of payments/transfers from your panel there I guess, in the different “employee” names. But I’m not 100% if those cards work ok at adwords.

Not used this for anything large scale either.. so depending on what your spending. Might be no use.

I will check these out, and ask my accountant if it is a viable solution.
I do agree that it might not be the best solution for volume but will check anyways.
Thanks for the tip though, much appreciated
